Tandem Bike Hire for Two

If you are ready to try a new challenge, then tandem cycling is for you. Learn the basics of co-ordination and team work as you explore on your unusual choice of transport. With the option of taking the front saddle and being the captain or taking the second and being the navigator, this is sure to be a laugh.

On arrival you will be allocated your equipment consisting of a tandem bike, a map, seat covers and helmets. You will then receive a safety briefing, before being free to explore the surrounding areas. You will finish your experience back at the starting point to hand in your tandem bike and equipment.

• When can I go?

  This experience is available Monday to Sunday, from March to November.

• How long will my experience last?

  Your experience will last a full day.

• How many people is this experience for?

  This experience is for two people.

• Can I bring family and friends?

  Unfortunately, this experience is not suitable for spectators.

• What else do I need to know?

  • The minimum age is 10 years old, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

  • You must be reasonably fit and able to ride the tandem. Please wear comfortable cycling clothing and flat, enclosed shoes. You will need to be between 5ft 5" and 6ft 3" to cycle at the front and between 5ft and 5ft 10" to cycle at the back.

  • This is for a voucher entitling the holder to any of the activities supplied by Activity Superstore up to the value stated.

  My husband and i absolutely loved it and actually argued less than we normally do. We got the hang of it pretty quickly, it really wasnt that difficult if you know how to ride a bike already.

  This experience was given to us by friends as a gift. making arrangements to book was very easy, as was collection the short induction which includes map, hats, gel seat pads and a general overview of the area. Not as easy as it looks but with practice and team work a great day.
