Enjoy personal tuition from a professional instructor on one of the UK's beautiful trout lakes. Depending on the location you'll be "wet fly" fishing or "dry fly fishing". This is a great opportunity to try your hand at one of life's more serene activities.
After a warm welcome on arrival you'll first learn a little about the theory behind the art of fly fishing and have the opportunity to get to grips with casting before you go down to the water. With a fly attached to your line you try your luck, with the instructor always on hand to advise on fishing techniques. Savour the fresh air and tranquillity and you never know you might catch a trout or two! All the equipment you need is provided.
This experience is available on selected Monday dates, seasons vary depending on location, please check on booking.
Your experience will last for approximately 3 to 4 hours, depending on location.
Your tuition will typically be on a one to one basis, however at some locations you will be in a small group.
Spectators vary depending on your chosen location.
The minimum age for this experience is 14 years old.
There are no fitness restrictions for this experience.
The experience is most suited for those beginning fly fishing, or those who want to improve their technique.
This is for a voucher entitling the holder to any of the activities supplied by Activity Superstore up to the value stated.

An excellent session with Peter, who is a very experienced and knowledgeable fly fisherman and teacher at a lovely venue. I have always wanted to learn or to at least sample the experience of fly fishing since being pulled in to Gone Fishing with Whitehouse and Mortimer, and this was the perfect gift from my wife for Christmas 25. Peter, the instructor, an gentleman of wiser years made the whole experience amazing for me, his patience and attention to educating you in the finer aspects of the art of fly fishing was second to none. He even got my poor wife who had to endure the 4 hour experience (probably reading her book the majority of the time) to join in a pretend to be a fish on the end of the line, that was funny!!! I would genuinely recommend this to anyone wanting a taster of how to and how not to do it. Well worth the money and in such a beautiful setting. BTW I am the stocky guy in the blue hat lol!!!
