Royal Pavilion and Sparkling Cream Tea for Two at the Wine Cellar

The Royal Pavilion has a colourful history stretching back over 200 years. Built as the seaside pleasure palace for King George IV, it has also served as a civic building, First World War hospital, and has become a true icon of Brighton. It mixes Regency grandeur with the visual style of India and China. The Pavilion will allow you to explore the furniture and works of art including original pieces lent by HM the Queen.

Located just a 5 minute walk from the Pavilion, head to The Wine Cellar to relax with a Cream Tea. The cream tea includes a scone with clotted cream and jam per person and a pot of tea and a glass of sparkling wine each.

  Ok experience but the museum is shut on Mondays so we only got a 1/3 of the experience and the cheese/meat board was very small at the wine cellar.

  The cafe was closed and we were sent to wine cellar to have cream tea. They did not ask about the drinks, they just put the scones which were dry and not to the standard you expect. Complete disappointment, and would not recommend to add the tea, but the visit only

  Pavilion was great. Cream tea Ok but a glass of prosecco turned put to be 1 1/2 inches in the bottom of the glass.
