An escape room game is a physical adventure in which players are locked in a room and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles and escape within a set time limit.
Games are set in a variety of fictional locations, such as prison cells, dungeons and space stations.
Once you arrive, you and your guest will be given a safety briefing and the rules will be explained to you.
The clues vary in difficulty with some being straight forward and easy to solve, whilst others can tax even the most seasoned of puzzle-solving minds.

As a newbie to Escape Rooms, I was unsure quiet what to expect at first.
I arrived in London Liverpool Street and it was a simple one stop on the underground and a 5 minute walk to the door. I was greeted by an enthusiastic member of staff and asked to complete a registration/consent form while waiting for friends to arrive.
The theme of the Escape Room was ‘Spy Heroes’ once we were ready to get going the member of staff stepped convincingly into character and explained the background to the task – We’re undercover, our agent friend has gone missing and we need to save him. The final word of advice before entering the room was to touch everything as nothing is as it first appears.
It was great fun, the game has a medium difficulty rating which in my option is a good indicator. The four of us defiantly had to work as a team, pulling on individual’s problem solving skills, you needed to think laterally to solve the clues. The experience lasted for an hour, which I feel was enough time, it would have been difficult to stay focused if it had been any longer.
Without giving too much away I would certainly recommend this escape room experience and would consider the other rooms on offer at this location. I’m always on the lookout for new thing to do with my teenage family/adult friends and this experience and location was ideal.
Work as a team and listen to every clue over the speaker system.
