Learn the art of traditional continental sausage making together and handcraft 1kg of artisan sausages to take home, choosing between Spanish chorizo or French Toulouse. This hands-on sausage making workshop for two introduces the traditional techniques behind some of Europe’s best-loved artisan sausages. Guided through each stage of the process, participants will create 1kg of their chosen variety, from bold, smoky Spanish chorizo to classic French Toulouse seasoned with wine, garlic and herbs.
Designed to build confidence in the kitchen, the workshop covers everything from preparing skins and blending seasonings to mixing fillings and mastering professional sausage-linking techniques. Along the way, participants will taste their mixture and adjust the seasoning to achieve the perfect balance of flavour.
With expert guidance and plenty of practical experience, this is an enjoyable introduction to traditional charcuterie skills and a rewarding experience for anyone who enjoys cooking, food craftsmanship and learning something new together.
