The perfect night away!

For our break we stayed at Dale Farm House, a lovely, quaint B&B situated in the picturesque New Forest. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were treated like someone special, the owners Chris and Peter were so friendly and helpful, they really couldn’t do enough for us!

The B&B was beautiful and set in a very rural area, but was well sign posted and easy to find. On arrival, we were given a warm welcome by Chris who checked us in. She showed us around the B&B, the gardens and made sure we knew where everything was and what time breakfast would be served in the morning.

We were recommended an array of places to eat dinner nearby, as well as local takeaway restaurants if we preferred a night in with a glass of wine. The B&B had a beautiful garden area with plenty of places to sit and soak up the atmosphere and the bedroom we stayed in was cosy and comfortable. Our bedroom was on the ground floor and the front door was kept unlocked so we could go in and out as we pleased and the bed itself was really comfortable, so we both had a great night’s sleep!

Breakfast was served the following morning between 8am-9:30am and there was lots to choose from. We both went for the full English breakfast which was cooked fresh using produce sourced locally. The food was delicious and the portion was huge, the perfect way to start our day before exploring all the New Forest has to offer.

All in all we had a fantastic night away and couldn’t have asked for better accommodation or friendlier hosts. I would definitely recommend Dale Farm House and can’t wait for our next visit here.

    We were greeted by the friendly staff in their bar/restaurant, we handed our voucher in and was taken to our en-suite room. The room was really clean and tidy, it had a large bathroom and they had shaped the towels on the bed into elephants which I thought was a lovely touch. We dropped our bags and went and explored the seaside town, got some delicious fish and chips and sat on the beach. The bed was extremely comfy, the room had tea and coffee making facilities, the hotel also has free Wi-Fi for guests to use. After a great night’s sleep we woke up early and went for breakfast, which was absolutely delicious, great quality food. If you get time, then go to the beach, its lovely!

    This was a gift, so I've no idea how much it cost, but there were very few options and most of the destinations were unavailable or had extra conditions. Also needed to be booked weeks in advance. We ended up paying ££s to stay in a crummy B&b for two nights just so we could use it. Very disappointed and cross on behalf of the gift giver who wasted their limited cash on this treat.

    We stayed for 1 night in September as part of a week long visit to Yorkshire. The location was perfect for what we wanted & in such a peaceful village. The room was lovely (we paid extra to upgrade to an ensuite room) & the owners had even left homemade cake in the room :) The owners themselves were lovely & always happy to help. The breakfast was spot on & cooked beautifully. We only wish we could've stayed a bit longer.

    It is a pleasure to recommend Dale Farm House at Dibden in the New Forest: a wonderful retreat between the forest and coast. The accommodation is clean, comfortable with good food and a warm welcome, and all set in a most attractive relaxing garden. Unfortunately one cannot say the same for the experience of finding, locating and booking a break using the voucher, which is laborious, longwinded and very frustrating - as exemplified by invalid phone numbers, non acceptance of single night stays and venues being fully booked several months ahead.
