  Although we enjoyed stay. Hotel was not as described seemed quite up market but was really bed and breakfast. Owners very friendly but restaurant advertised non existent. Breakfast was cooked individually. Room clean and comfy.

  We had a lovely one nght stay at the townhouse hotel in Manchester. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was great. We also had an afternoon tea at the Trafford hotel as part of our experience which was perfect nothing was too much trouble and the experience as a whole at both venue's was perfect.

  The worst thing about this hotel was the car park is now an NPC car park so although we paid £10 to park for 2 days we received 4 parking fines when we got home? I tried to contact the hotel but they didn't want to know so we had to appeal all 4 separately and it took 2 Months to sort out. It was so stressful and needless, we feel reluctant to buy further breaks through activity superstore.

  Fabulous old building in great location, restaurant was excellent. Rooms and parts of the building are very dated but I appreciate it is a very large, old hotel, so I didn't mind that at all. Paid for an executive room which was spacious if, as I said, a little dated. All staff and cleaners were lovely. Would stay again but the hotel escape voucher I used was a waste if time as the hotel was cheaper direct.
