What did you get up to?
We visited Delta Force Upminster to take part in their paintballing for four people. I brought my family along with me as I knew they would enjoy the experience.
As soon as we arrived we were kitted out with overalls and given our bullets.
We decided to get the recruit pack, which gave us extra padding and bullets for the day ahead!
We were then put into teams and given our safety briefing, before heading off to 3 amazing game zones. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.
The games lasted about 20-30 minutes each and were so much fun!
What did you enjoy the most?
Our favourite part of the experience was the last game, capture the flag!
Some of us had run out of bullets, but still kept shooting to scare the other team, and one of our group even managed to secure the flag!!
We went from being slightly scared at the beginning to thoroughly enjoying the day and being on the winning team.
Bring some extra cash! You will probably need some more bullets and won’t want to get caught out if you want to win!
Take plenty of drinks, it gets hot in the helmets!
Listen to the marshals! They are very helpful and safety is so important there!

My son received as a bday present and I added to it so whole family could do it. We just managed to go before tier 4 lockdown started. We really enjoyed it and didn't argue too much! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had never done an escape room before so didn't know what to expect. My only criticism would be that the room was a bit smaller than I expected. My advice, pair up and work in teams and plan to have somewhere to go for refreshments afterwards as it's on an industrial estate. You don't need to take anything, it's all provided.

I swapped to this experience from a different one and very glad I did. It was really well organised, great fun, and long enough. At first 30 minutes didn't seem very long, but it's physical and hot, so definitely enough time.

After having to pay extra because the only day I could attend was a Sunday and then paying extra for an insurance waver I was told that the Ariel Atom was not available because the track was in such a bad state (more like a ploughed field in places) that other cars were flicking up stones and someone had been hit by a stone! There was absolutely no social distancing taking place as we all had to crowd together to hear our names being called out and add to that the two and half hour wait for a fifteen minute drive. The only highlight of the day was the instructor who was a nice old guy. Oh I actually drove an Austin Martin DB9 that had seen better days so they even managed to ruin my illusion of an Austin Martin (thanks for that)!!!

Having looked into the experience information, we do state for your chosen location that you are able to book this from Monday - Friday with any weekend dates available with a surcharge. I can only apologise that the remaining dates at your venue did fall on a weekend and this did in fact mean that you needed to pay the surcharge. I'm very sorry to hear that you were not able to drive the Ariel Atom on the day, this I can imagine was extremely disappointing however I am glad to hear that they gave you a replacement. In regards to the social distancing on the day, I can only apologise on behalf of the venue for this. This is not something we expect during this current climate and after speaking to Car Chase Heroes they confirmed that the tannoy system was down and this did mean that a crowd had formed to hear names being called. I'm very sorry for your disappointment and thank you again for your feedback.

Always wanted to drive a GT40 so delighted when my mother in law bought me this experience for Xmas. Arrived, queued, sold extra laps, herded into a hot shed, wait without a view of the track, no one tells you when you might drive, hang around, after 3 hours announced the GT40 is broken, and few other cars are available. Suggested I take a bumblebee out instead. Track short, instructor told me he’s been up since 3am. A lot of effort for a poor experience.

Booked this for my other half but decided to do it myself, we hired the mustang GT convertible last year on holiday but was automatic so not so good. I read that the Roush mustang was manual but when I jumped in the car I found out is was another auto which was disappointing. The instructor was very good and we both had a blast

I drove 3 laps if Castle Combe in a GT40. I paid an extra £20 to do at that track. On arrival I was charged an further a further £20 to do an extra lap even though it said 3 laps on my paperwork they said it was only 2. I paid a further £25 for insurance. Although it was fun, the cars power was restricted. At the end I paid £40 more to download photos and a video. The video from the car looks slow and has no sound, and the 3 photos taken on the same corner I may as well have downloaded from the Internet because you can't tell its me. It worked out to be £155 in total for 7 minutes in the car in total. Next time I won't bother with photos and I'll checjkhow many laps in advance.
