Junior Movie Driving Experience

A junior driving experience day gives young petrolheads the chance to experience cars made famous by popular films like Transformers and The Fast & Furious. Kids over the age of ten can take the wheel themselves for an exhilarating three laps or miles in their favourite car, while kids under the age of ten get to experience high-speed thrills on the passenger side. This junior car driving experience makes a fantastic gift for young film buffs and teens with a need for speed!

What To Expect

The young driver or passenger can choose between a number of legendary vehicles, such as the Bumblebee Camaro - the main character of the Transformers movies - or cars such as the Nissan Skyline and the Toyota Supra, driven by Brian in the Fast & Furious movies.

This kids’ driving experience includes the presence of a qualified and experienced instructor to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment.

The driver of the car has to sign a waiver accepting liability in case there’s any damage to the vehicle. There will also be an opportunity to purchase an optional damage waiver cover when booking. Do you have the skills to manoeuvre a hairpin bend or are you a speed demon who will push the pedal to the metal on the long straights? The tracks used are chosen for their variety and they test the ability, courage and judgement of every type of driver. This is a perfect experience for those who have never been karting before, as well as for those who just want to keep coming back for more!

On arrival at the track you will be given your specialist racing clothing and a safety briefing, then it's time to get going. Whether you are a first timer or an experienced kart racer, the opened timed race session is the ideal opportunity to develop your skills. With approximately 30 minutes driving time, you can take the track at the speed that best suits you. A lap time report at the end tells you how well you've driven!

This experience is perfect for those who are new to rallying and want to get a taste of exactly what it has to offer. Experience the amazing power, traction and control of these awesome rally cars as you navigate your way through the challenging rally stage.

Segway Tour of Leeds Castle

Description

Sitting beautifully surrounded by the still waters of its moat, Leeds Castle is one of the most attractive venues in Kent surrounded by 500 acres of stunning parkland and formal gardens. The Castle has always been a palace to entertain and impress, with every generation leaving its mark.

Now you’ll be able to view the castle from a different perspective as you explore the grounds on a Segway.

Your experience will start with an introduction, which is then followed by one to one training. Once all members are confident you will then depart on the 60 minute tour. Your guide will point out the main sights including the gardens, grounds and the Maiden's Tower.

The majority of the tour takes place in the grounds outside of the main castle gardens and includes views of the castle, one of which is particularly stunning, as you stand at the top of a hill looking down onto the front of the castle set in amongst the trees with the Pilgrim Way as its backdrop.

A Castle entry ticket is not required to take the Segway Tour. You will only require a ticket if you wish to visit the Castle and Grounds separately.

This is an experience to drive some of the most impressive cars around, from TV stars such as the General Lee and Iron Man’s Audi R8, to timeless classics such as an Aston Martin, Nissan GTR, Ferrari 348 TS or a Pontiac Firebird.

With this experience you will get to drive 3 miles in a choice of amazing cars. There is something for everyone, from speed demons to fans of elegant engineering and those who are star struck by their favourite cars from the silver screen.

The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking.

Please note, there is a £25 supplement charge payable for bookings at the Blyton Park venue.

This experience is available on selected Monday to Friday dates, throughout the year.

How long does this activity last?

You will drive 3 miles, please allow for approximately 2 hours at the venue.

You need to know

The minimum age is 17 years old.

Drivers must be fit and healthy and not suffer from any conditions that may impact their ability to drive the car safely. The maximum weight is 20st (127kg) and the minimum height is 135cm (4ft 5").

You will be required to hold a full UK or European manual driving licence and this will need to be presented on the day.

This is for a voucher entitling the holder to any of the activities supplied by Activity Superstore up to the value stated.
