60 Minute Young Drivers Driving Lesson

As the UK’s biggest and best driving school for under 17s, Young Driver has been delivering driving lessons for kids and teens since 2009, operating across private venues all over the UK whilst delivering 1.1 million lessons, which shows with their 5-star Trustpilot reviews! The aim is to offer responsible learning, in a safe, controlled environment in a fun way, to nurture the future generation of safe drivers.

With a full hour at the wheel of a Vauxhall Corsa or similar, your child will absolutely love this driving experience. All training is done in the car, so youngsters benefit from a full hour of driving experience, it’s amazing what they will pick up in just 60-minutes of teaching time. With a fully-qualified instructor by their side, progress is quick. The aim is to get moving off, steering and changing gear mastered straight away and then they will progress on to more advanced techniques, such as negotiating roundabouts and junctions on the specially created road layout. All of Young Driver’s locations are positioned well-away from the public roads, so completely safe, whilst giving them a taste of real-life driving at the same time, this experience is also fully inclusive for those with disabilities or special needs.

  • The minimum age is 10 years old.

  • The minimum height is 142cm (4ft 6").

  • A parent or guardian will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The parent/guardian will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. There is no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking.
