What to expect:

As you arrive at the airfield, a specialist team will warmly welcome you and provide a comprehensive safety briefing. Then it’s time for a few photo opportunities and a final prep before you climb aboard the helicopter. Once in the air, the pilot will fly you over 1,000ft above ground level, pointing out local landmarks as you go. Don't forget to bring your camera, as this exhilarating experience is one you will want to relive as often as possible. To top it all off, after the flight, you will be treated to a glass of bubbly and delicious chocolates while you reflect on your unforgettable experience!

What did your experience entail?
As soon as I arrived at Bottisham Airfield I was put at ease by the lovely staff that greet you. I did add an extra person to my flight as I was feeling slightly nervous about taking part in it by myself, however this process was very easy and I even upgraded my seat to sit in the front with the pilot! On arrival, the staff provide you with your boarding pass and then you could sit outside and watch the other flights take off. Once it was our turn, we were provided with an in-depth safety briefing and then we were ready to take off. They took professional photos for us outside the helicopter and inside before take-off, which I did purchase after the flight, but this is optional. The flight itself was amazing the pilot pointed out all the sights that we went past and was very friendly. The flight lasted around 8 minutes; however, this was plenty of time. Once we landed, we were handed a bottle of bubbly and a box of chocolates to enjoy. It was a breathtaking experience that I would thoroughly recommend. At Bottisham Airfield, there was a lovely café that you could sit in whilst you wait for your turn, with the bonus of a museum which we were able to look around.
