For those with a thirst for adrenaline and a love of the extreme, abseiling can give you the buzz you're looking for. The exhilaration of hanging on a rope no thicker than your finger is immense, feel the delight as you lean back over the edge and make your descent. This abseiling course is perfect for those who are complete beginners and want to try something new or for those wishing to polish up their abseiling technique.
The Mendip Hills have the best limestone cliffs in Britain and are perfect for you to descend 150 foot cliffs. With this experience you're guaranteed an adventure to remember.
At the beginning your instructor will carefully explain the whole process and ensure your complete safety and wellbeing. During this experience you'll learn the basics of abseiling, happy with the knowledge that you are attached to a safety rope.
As an added bonus; this voucher will also entitle you to a round of frisbee golf. Originating in the USA, frisbee golf is just like traditional golf, the difference is it's played by throwing a flying disc into a metal target in the fewest throws - instead of hitting a ball into a hole. frisbee golf is a great way to enjoy the outdoors, get active and have fun trying something new.
The beautiful course consists of ten disc holes for you to throw, chuck or fly the frisbee into. This is one of only 35 courses in the country, which winds through beautiful woodland, over rolling hill tops and has stunning views; this is, by far, one of the more scenic courses around.
Please note, the venue for the Frisbee golf experience is approximately a 10 to 15 minute drive from either of the abseiling locations.
This fast-paced and exhilarating extreme sport will have you riding down a hill in a Sphere at speeds of up to 30mph. With no harness, you are completely free to slip and slide around together inside the ball surrounded by thirty litres of water. As a memento of your day, a SD card is included with all of the footage from your hilariously wet and wild adventure.
Your experience will begin with a welcome and introduction followed by a safety briefing. You and a guest will then enter the Sphere along with thirty litres of water before you receive your one roll down a hill.
Please note, as Sphereing is an extreme activity the footage on the SD card could be very shaky and if not held properly could result in the participant not being filmed.
SphereMania Ltd and its franchise network will not offer any refunds or extra rides if the filming fails or if not filmed correctly by the customer.

What did you get up to?
After a day of exploring Cambridge, we made our way the Loch Fyne restaurant which was only a short walk from the town centre. Once we arrived we were greeted by the friendly staff and were presented with a bottle of Joseph Perrier. Alongside the chilled champagne, we enjoyed a tasty three course meal from the set menu. The restaurant was modern and comfortable and had a lovely outdoor seating section as well. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the fresh food and the staff were very accommodating, the champagne was a great accompaniment with the meal as well, making it perfect for a special occasion or romantic meal for two to enjoy!
What did you enjoy the most?
Our highlight of the experience was how quick the service was, we were not waiting a long time for our meals and once we tucked in it was great quality food! There is a wide variety on the menu to choose from as well, including meat or vegetarian dishes if you do not eat seafood. The small extra touches from the staff were also impressive such as changing the ice bucket for the champagne every so often and bringing us water or teas and coffees.
1. I would recommend going to Cambridge earlier ahead of your booking and exploring what they have to offer as there are so many things to do! Such as punting, seeing the university, shopping and a wide variety of cafes and bars.
2. Get the train or a taxi to Cambridge so you and your guest can enjoy the bottle of chilled champagne provided with the voucher! Cambridge train station is just a 20 minute walk from the restaurant and under 10 minutes to the town centre.
3. Have a light spot to eat ahead of your meal as the portions are very generous across the three courses!
