Grab a paddle and head down stream while soaking up the beautiful Shropshire countryside with this Canadian Canoeing Adventure Day for Two experience.
Aboard a Canadian style canoe, you will paddle along the longest river in Britain, The River Severn, which winds through some of the most beautiful and un-spoilt counties in the country, offering fantastic views and is teeming with wildlife.
Once you arrive at your location, you will receive a safety briefing and learn about the best canoeing techniques to help make your experience as enjoyable as possible. You will travel 6 miles from Bridgnorth to Hampton Loade, where you will stop for lunch and have the opportunity to purchase food at the nearby pub or, if the weather is nice, bring a picnic and eat outdoors. In the afternoon you continue 4.5 miles downstream to Arley where your return journey will be on the Severn Valley Steam Railway, which delivers you back to the train station at Bridgnorth.
If you can’t decide which activities you would enjoy the most then why not complete a combination of two events to make the most of your experience.
Choose two from the following options:
- Archery and Axe Throwing
- Archery and Air Rifle Shooting
- Axe Throwing and Rifle Shooting
You will begin your day with a safety briefing before each of your activities. An instructor will show you the best techniques on how to hit the target, wield and throw an axe or try your hand at shooting on their diverse air rifle range. After spending some time learning your chosen activities you will get the chance to end your session with some friendly competitions!
If you’re looking for an experience that will get your adrenaline pumping, then look no further than the triple whammy. Flying along a zip wire, abseiling into the ‘Abyss’ and parachute simulators, this experience has everything covered. Once you’re into your safety harness it's time for the fun to begin. This isn’t for the faint hearted!
Your experience will begin by being kitted out in the safety harness. Then it's off to your first activity, the 250ft indoor zip wire. Climb the long and winding walkway into the rafters to the 250ft indoor zip wire, six stories above the ground. The jumpmaster will attach you and then as you push off take a look below and you'll see the restaurant, friends and family below you as you travel at 30mph before safely entering the landing zone.
Next it's off to climb 143 steps to the abseil zone. A trained instructor will instruct you how to descend and then it's up to you to abseil into the Abyss from 150ft down into the chasm that is the face of steel and the dark and gloomy Abyss.
Last but definitely not least, with your heart pounding, climb the 143 steps again for the final buzz on the 150ft drop. You will have sensory overload as you plummet to the ground before landing safely on terra firma.

Thunderous noise, churning water and rapids all around you - some serious teamwork is required to get you through it all. This is the unbelievable thrill of white water rafting.
You can raft on man-made rapids, which are guaranteed to give you lots of white water excitement! Alternatively you can try natural white water rafting in the Scottish Highlands, where you will enjoy the excitement of this sport in beautiful unspoilt surroundings.
The session starts with a thorough safety briefing by a qualified instructor, followed by tuition where you'll learn to perfect your paddling technique. Then it’s time to take to the river on a raft.
For natural rapids, white water rafting is dependent on water levels and therefore can only run if the water is high enough. We ensure that you have a thorough safety briefing and that you are professionally looked after by a qualified instructor. Then you enjoy travelling down river on the raft.
For man made rapids, pumps control the discharge of the water down the 300 metre white water course allowing the centre to control the flow rates, therefore altering the course's difficulty and the skill levels required to paddle it. After a dry land briefing session and issue of equipment you will spend 1 1/2 hours white water rafting.
You may be required to help carry the raft and equipment during your experience. Several stretches of river are used, some are a 45-minute bus ride from the meeting point (transportation is included). The rafting is dependent on water levels and therefore can only run if the water is high enough.

Rural life in the UK has traditionally centred round charming villages, beautiful country scenery, farming and the village Inn. What better way to explore it all than by getting away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and escaping with this one night break. Whether you have fond memories of donkey rides across the sand and knobbly knee competitions or you just enjoy the bracing effects of the sea air and a chance to paddle, this break is ideal for anyone who likes to be beside the seaside.
There is nothing quite like a stroll along the beach with the tide lapping at your feet and the sound of seagulls overhead. You can walk along the pier and try your hand at the variety of amusements on offer, sit on the beach and enjoy the sound of the surf crashing on the shore or even test your mettle with some water sports if you’re really feeling adventurous.
A break away is as much about enjoying the accommodation as it is about immersing yourselves in the pleasures of rural life. Whether you prefer traditional features or a more contemporary feel, you can find the perfect place to stay for a short break and a warm welcome wherever you choose.
This is a one night stay for two people, including breakfast. Some locations may have restrictions for certain days of the week and months of the year.
Whilst modern life has left its mark on many of the UK’s most popular short break destinations, there is something about a trip to the seaside that retains a charm which harks back to traditional holidays from simpler times.

Escape the stresses of modern day living and get closer to nature with this fantastic Two Night Camping Experience.
Camping can be great fun and this experience allows you to enjoy all the joys of camping without having to rough it.
If you're not aspiring to be Bear Grylls then this experience is a great alternative and could be seen more as glamping than clamping with its comfortable and inviting camping pods. The camping pods resemble wooden huts and have many advantages over most tents. For a start, they are guaranteed to stay dry inside, which is particularly handy when you can’t rely on the great British weather. If you're looking for a short break away to escape somewhere different and quirky with your partner, camping pods are the perfect getaway.
This voucher entitles two adults to a two night's stay in a camping pod. You can book additional nights at an extra fee at time of booking. Camping pods are generally empty shells so for comfort we recommend you take blow up beds and bedding, however, this does not apply to all pods and we advise that you check on booking. Restrictions may apply to days of the week and months of the year for some locations.
*Please note, at the Paignton location you are unable to take pets.
There is plenty of truth in the old saying ‘a change is as good as a rest’, and this two night getaway is an ideal example of how a short break can bring you a whole new perspective on life.
Wherever you live and whatever you enjoy doing, going somewhere different and spending some time together is sure to make you feel relaxed and refreshed. With many locations to choose from, you can select a break which will allow you to pursue a favourite hobby, engage with nature, or indulge yourself in a lazy couple of days wandering around the shops and people watching in cafés.
However you choose to unwind, this two night break has a location which will suit you perfectly. You will be able to choose from a selection of hotels or guest houses across the UK, a list of which will be available at the point of validation.
This is a two night stay for two people. Please note breakfast is not included and can be purchased at each location. Locations are subject to change and availability. Restrictions and supplements may apply, please check when booking.

What did you get up to?
Our experience started with an Afternoon Tea at Novotel London Bridge. From the beginning, staff members were all very welcoming and to our surprise one of them visited our hometown in Ukraine. All cakes were not only photo worthy but scrumptious as well. We were also given a drinks menu, from which we ordered a cappuccino and a green tea which came in a lovely tea pot.
After this we went to The View From The Shard. After the elevator took us up to the 68th floor, we had the option to walk up three more floors. Whilst going up, we had a lot of fun looking for beloved London attractions: St Paul Cathedral, Tower Bridge and Tower of London. Everything was decorated for the Queen’s Jubilee and felt highly appropriate as we continued embracing Britishness after our Afternoon Tea.
What did you enjoy the most?
Our favourite part of the experience was tasting all the lovely cakes and taking photos and videos of them, while catching up.
At the Shard my favourite spot was roofless terrace with all the photo zones. It was also interesting to see London from a different perspective.
1. Floor 68 is quieter vs. the top floor and perfect for taking photos :)
2. Leave time for a lovely walk down the Thames
3. Leave space in your tummy for all the cakes.
