Our 1969 SS has a crazy 580bhp from its 8 litre big block V8 engine, adjustable air suspension and wide custom wheels. Thank you for your review. I can see that you have the Shelby Mustang experience and with this there are 12 locations that you can chose from. When you chose the Castle Combe location, it does explain to you that this is a premium track and does require a supplement fee to be paid on top of the voucher which is £25. I can only apologise if this information was overlooked, however you did have the option to choose another venue to take your experience. In regards to the waiting times, I can only apologise on behalf of the supplier ass this is a popular experience, times may vary slightly. Thank you again for your review.

Cars were excellent...stunning noise as they took off! Would have liked to have had a more realistic estimate on wait time as it ended up being about 2hrs between sign in & actual driving. The car I wanted to drive had broken down with a brake problems. I'm a mechanic and most brake faults are a result of poor maintenance. Very little time on track. Track was small and boring. Was advised to pay for a damage waiver but the instructor has deul control so complete waste of money.

I got brought this as a gift and was really looking forward to it. I think it roughly cost £70 I’m not 100% sure. But the closest venue was 2 hours from me which is no problem. The venue itself had no signs directing you once you arrived and it was basically a free for all. You are barraged with an array of questions which has the aim to try get you to spend more rather than giving you an enjoyable experience. Then you’re hit with an insurance fee on top of the price you payed for the experience without a notice in advance. On the product it said 10 miles around the track, the track was less than a mile and my driving experience lasted 3 minutes which is poor. For driving a total of 4 hours and paying over a £100 for 3 minutes of driving. The car itself was kept in poor condition, filthy on the inside and was tatty and kept in a rough used state. But waiting for the experience to happen was the worst, you get stood like cattle waiting for your name to be called out, I arrived before most people but I had to yet wait 50 minutes. Overall I was very disappointed with it all

I have checked the locations we offer for the Bumblebee Camaro ZL1 experience and the nearest one to you was only 1hr and 20 minutes away, this was the Bicester track. I apologise if you felt the Blyton Park track could have been sign posted better, the address for the site and detailed directions are emailed to you once you have booked the experience. It is stated in the voucher information for this experience that the driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking, to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. You are also given the choice to upgrade your experience when you arrive at the track, however this is an optional extra and drivers are welcome to decline this. The voucher itself is only £69 and it is stated prior to purchase and upon validation that this experience will entitle you to drive 6 laps of the circuit, not 10 miles. I can see that you originally had a Superstar Movie Cars pack where you had the choice to drive 1 of 10 very different cars, I apologise that the car you chose did not meet your expectations. Blyton Park is one of the most popular tracks we work with and they run multiple driving experiences every day, unfortunately queuing is a result of this and is to be expected. I had the r34 furious bought as a gift for Christmas. Waited until the following October to attend due to work commitments. Upon arrival the site looked well planned out and easy to navigate. The instructors and booking staff were all more than happy to help with any queries or issues. In the hanger next to the booking office, the choice of cars was fantastic. I was only interested in the R34 though. After a short but cold wait i was called to the car. Once Sat in the drivers seat I was told that there was a problem with the car. The gearbox was broken. I had no 4th gear and no syncro in 3rd. i was a little disappointed but had come to drive the thing and had waited 10 months to do it. Once out on track it became apparent I had to double clutch to change from 5th to 3rd( no 4th gear). Having only a little practice in double clutching the instructor talked me through it. I admit i struggled to hit the correct revs and the instructor asked me to keep it in 3rd for the straight. Meaning I was only half throttle for most of it so as to not top out the revs. This though was not a major issue. The car was showing it's age to be honest. The gauge pod on the dash was missing, the gearbox was horrible. even it if was'nt broken It would be like stiring pudding and The speedo had been disconected. I know the car is there for the driving experience and these things dont change the feel but it could have been in better condition I had double the number of laps I had paid for due to the gearbox issue which I feel was fair. The instructor was great, friendly, chatty and complimented me on my apparent mastery of the track. I feel I could have gone quicker. All in all I had a great time. I do feel that if the car had been in full working order it could have been a truly amazing morning. Despite the issues, the team worked on the car prior to me going out and did all they could to ensure I could drive it, I was given extra laps and learned to double clutch properly. I will be going again provided the car is repaired. Think I'll give the new gtr a try next time too.
