This paddleboarding experience is perfect for complete beginners as well as those who have tried paddleboarding a few times before. Participants are welcomed into a friendly, small-group session led by an experienced, fully qualified coach. The instructor provides a thorough introduction to paddleboard safety and technique, including how to turn, self-rescue, and—most importantly—how to stand up confidently on the board.

After getting comfortable with the basics, the group sets off on a guided paddle along the river. The route offers stunning scenery, hidden islands, and an abundance of local wildlife, creating a peaceful yet adventurous experience suitable for all confidence levels.

Sessions run from riverside locations in Richmond, Teddington, and Kingston, with round-trip routes that begin and end at the same spot, making it easy to plan travel and meet-ups. Each site is surrounded by great options for food and drinks, making it simple to turn the session into a full day out.

The Teddington location is uniquely set in the beer garden of The Anglers pub, allowing participants to enjoy a relaxing drink or meal right after their time on the water. Whether it’s a solo outing, a group activity, or a unique way to explore the outdoors, this paddleboarding experience offers a fun, safe, and scenic escape along the river.
