Overview
With this private one to two session, you’ll learn to paddleboard on one of the safest stretches of the Thames at Richmond, Teddington, Kingston or Barnes. This experience is ideal for complete beginners as well as those who have paddle boarded a few times before.
Led by a friendly, experienced and fully qualified coach, you’ll learn the basics of paddle board safety, and paddle technique, including turns, self-rescue, and of course, how to stand-up! And you be taken on an amazing, guided trip along the river, experiencing hidden islands, stunning views and loads of wildlife along the route.
This is a round trip and you’ll finish where we started, with places to eat or grab a drink nearby, the Teddington site is actually in the beer garden of The Anglers pub! so you'll be able to continue your day out after the session.

This private session is perfect for complete beginners or those with a bit of previous experience looking to build confidence and improve their technique.
Led by a friendly, experienced, and fully qualified coach, you’ll cover the essentials of paddleboarding, including safety, paddle technique, turning, self-rescue, and, of course, how to stand up! Once you're comfortable on the board, you’ll set off on a guided river adventure, exploring secret islands, spotting wildlife, and taking in the stunning riverside scenery.
This is a round-trip session, so you’ll finish where you started. Many of the launch points are near great spots to relax after your paddle, the Teddington location, which launches right from the beer garden of The Anglers pub! It’s the perfect way to continue your day out by the water.
