Experience driving a first generation Ford Escort with this classic car track day. You’ll feel like a movie star on this unique experience day, combining an appreciation for vintage design with high-speed thrills.
This classic car was the first European Ford, with production running from 1967 to 1975. A UK bestseller in the 1960s, it quickly solidified its status as a truly classic car. Known for its “coke bottle” waistline and “dogbone” front grille, it’s an iconic example of practical and timeless design. This model was also a firm favourite for rallying and later gained additional fame after it was featured in the film ‘Fast And Furious 6’, driven by Paul Walker. So, if you have a need for speed and fancy taking a spin around the race track in this classic car, now is your opportunity!
As you arrive at the race track, you’ll be taken through a safety briefing and provided with a hot drink of your choosing to fortify you for the drive ahead. After that, you’ll hop into the car for 6 laps around the track, with an expert instructor by your side to help you navigate the track whilst offering expert advice on how to get the most out of the car.
On the day of your driving experience, you’ll have to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in case of any damage to the car. You’ll have the option to buy a damage waiver cover when making your booking that will minimise any financial exposure in case of an accident. Purchasing this waiver is entirely optional. Please note, there will be a supplement fee if you choose to visit a premium venue.

You need to know
The minimum age is 17 years old.
Drivers must be fit and healthy and not suffer from any conditions that may impact their ability to drive. The maximum weight restriction is 20 stone (127kg) and the minimum height is 135cm (4ft 5").
You must hold a full, valid UK driving license which you've held for at least 1 year with no serious offences. This must be presented on the day.
