The London Steakhouse Company is a relaxingly elegant British steakhouse dining room, complete with a stylish cocktail bar and popular private dining room.

The restaurant was first opened in September 2003 as 'Lanes Restaurant & Bar' but by 2008 (and with the help of renowned chef Marco Pierre White) evolved into the London Steakhouse Co you see today. Their reputation is built on using nothing but the highest quality produce, cooked perfectly and served crisply in casually splendid surroundings.

This experience is a 5-course gourmet meal including a cocktail for two at Marco Pierre White’s London Steakhouse Co., two people will enjoy the culinary expertise of this Marco Pierre White led restaurant who specialise in great quality food using the freshest ingredients.

After being seated you will be served your complimentary cocktail you will peruse the 5-course set menu which will include delicious mains such as Fillet of Tournedos Rossini or Wheeler’s Fishcake.

The menu is seasonal to ensure that the produce is sustainable and as fresh as can be. The menu will always include the finest quality products to create a delicious and extensive menu.

What did your experience entail?
Arriving at London Steakhouse Co. was a joy in itself, this classic building has a flower arch around the entry way with stairs leading down to a lovely dining room complete with linen table cloths and candles.
We were sat at our table and handed the prix fixe menu. Our waiter advised that we would order our selected cocktail, and then be served the first two courses. I opted for a glass of champagne with a small surcharge to make the most of the experience! The first two courses are served alongside each other and are served in an amuse bouche style, smaller plates to sample the delicate flavour profiles created by the talented chef brigade. The first was a smoked salmon blini served with creme fraiche and capers as well as a beetroot and goats cheese salad with chopped walnuts, these two dishes were delicious. The flavours matched so well and they were presented beautifully with delicate plating.
We then ordered our next two courses, I opted for the mackerel pate and can safely say it was the best dish of the evening, I think I will be returning for this dish alone! The main was boeuf bourguignon, slow braised beef in a beautifully rich sauce served with, dare I say, the worlds creamiest mashed potatoes. To finish the meal, I ordered the lemon posset, a beautifully creamy and light citrus dessert that really topped off the experience. I do not think I could have eaten more if I had tried!
What did you enjoy the most?
Whilst I have clearly pointed out the quality of the food, I would also like to point out the service was top notch! We were made to feel welcome and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. The waiting team are genuine and friendly yet entirely professional – we had a few menu questions being that my friend is pregnant and had to confirm certain dietary restrictions.

1. Make sure not to eat too much before hand – there is plenty of food!
2. Be sure to enjoy a drink at the bar prior to your reservation, the cocktails were great!

The view and meal was a wonderful experience and I totally recommend buying this as a gift or to themselves. The views alone at the sahard were wonderful (dont forget to use the toilet) There is a bar to get a drink at the too but be warned it is pricy, but worth it for a full experience. Our dining experience was top class and yummy. I could not fault it at all! And the service is second to none! 5* We had extras and paired our food with drinks, so be prepared to pay the extra, but it is so worth it! What a fabulous day we had. Choose experiences over things 🙂

Was a little disappointed to find that the cost of the meal did not include any of the usual extras you would expect with a steak. My steak was really not good, however they did give me a replacement which was better. The service was excellent, but did not expect all the hidden costs. The Shard was breathtaking and well worth it.

Was an experience to do but you actually don't get a 'Sunday Roast'. Was not clear on set menu as it presented as a 3 course set and not a Sunday roast (found out only afterwards and only chicken was available) although the food was great.

First time visiting The Shard and we were not disappointed. The views are fantastic and the nice breeze in the open air area was welcome on a hot day! Recommend trying a cocktail and spending some time taking it all in. The meal at the London Steakhouse co was great - genuinely one of the best steaks I have had and my wife loved the fish as well. Great service and a perfect way to end the day

Not impressed with the alternative boat bus option that we had given to us instead of the shard! Wasn't allocated a time like the shard so guess for hours to then only have 30mins on the boat Restaurant was OK. Food was lovely however restaurant was very run down in the main receptionbit and the toilets

The shard was closed the day we went and we weren't informed. The dinner was also disappointing as they no longer did the starter, main, dessert. We just some money towards the bill so a free day out ended costing us more which wasn't what we had in mind.

After receiving £95 voucher for a short stay for my 60th birthday from my sister and finding nowhere to stay of a 3star or above standard within 100 miles I decided to pay an extra £30 to transfer the ‘experience’ to this restaurant. It was a very average steak meal from a limited menu with surcharges on almost everything, even the chips . The bill came and the voucher only covered £59 of the bill . So where did the other £70 go? We questioned the bill and were told that’s all they get so had to pay another £70. In all £200 for a very average small dinner. What a con.
