Not really knowing what to expect when we arrived at the meeting point, this foodie treasure hunt turned out to be one of the most enjoyable experiences I've done in a long time.
The event is very well organised and incredibly clever. The clues and riddles are great fun – challenging enough to make you think and explore your surroundings, but not so difficult that you end up feeling lost or wanting to skip a clue. We only had to go back on ourselves a couple of times!
The food stops were excellent and knew exactly what we were doing and who we were. I don't want to give too much away, but there's plenty of food along the route, so I'd recommend doing this over lunchtime and into the afternoon to really enjoy the experience. You won't need another meal afterwards!
The only downside for us was the weather, as it was quite a wet day. However, the food stops provided welcome shelter and facilities, and there are also pubs along the way if you'd like to stop for additional refreshments. One of the food stops asked us to purchase a drink while we were there, which we were planning to do anyway, and at the end of the hunt we received a discount on drinks, so it still felt like good value.
Having enjoyed Asian Food Hunt, I'm already looking forward to trying another one.

You will be fed well so I do not suggest booking a meal either before or after.
The game pauses for you to enjoy the food stops, so make the most of these stops to enjoy a drink and a well- deserved rest.
Comfortable shoes are a must!
