The Battle Proms offers a truly spectacular opportunity to enjoy a glorious summer evening of entertainment from start to finish with a parachute display, cavalry, firework displays and more on the bill alongside the fantastic music! These events raise money for military charities, so you can enjoy an exciting evening whilst making a difference to an important cause!

All of this can be enjoyed whilst you savour the delights of a delicious picnic!
The show gets kicked off to an exciting start with a display from the mounted cavalry, where they’ll treat you to their battlefield skill-at-arms with lances and rifles. Then it’s time to gaze up into the skies to watch a stunning parachute display by the Red Devils. To start the music side of entertainment for the evening, a warm up act will grace the stage, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy listening to their talents. Before the concert begins, an evening gun salute will announce the arrival of the Spitfire thundering above in the skies, with its distinctive sound impossible to miss and then followed by an unforgettable aerial display.
Now for the main event. Prepare to be amazed by the beautiful sounds of the New English Concert Orchestra, who’ll blow you away with classical hits including Beethoven’s Battle Symphony, complemented by almost 200 cannons, as well as musket fire and fireworks making for a show-stopping performance.
The grand finale is a traditional flag-waving sing-along, finishing with a stunning fireworks display. What could be a more memorable way to finish an evening off!
