  This venue was drab, dark poor decoration, also phenomenally over priced with a small bottle of water £5,50. A large restaurant with only myself and partner for the evening. Worryingly unhygienic.

  This was a dreadful experience and Activity Superstore were of no use either. We wanted to go to Essebourne manor which was on the list of options. We called and were told they were closing completely- we advised Activity Superstore to remove them from the list and were told they would not do that. We then selected the next closest option which was Sudbury House. This was just a painful experience. The hotel didn’t seem to know what to do with us or our voucher, we were interrupted all the way through our meal checking details, contacts, where it was purchased etc. All round zero communication between hotel and company. This was a gift for us and we will never ever recommend either place - awkward eating knowing that the hotel mistrusted us and useless customer service from Activity Superstore. The food selected was ok, the voucher did not include drinks but did not state that. The service was good but as we were only one of two tables dining it was hard not to get attention. All around a poor experience.

  This was how our experience was advertised and this is why we took a train journey to get there! When we arrived it was just a 3 course meal priced at 25.00 per head! My voucher was worth 69.00 The venue said they had no idea about what our experience was meant to be when I showed them the description of what we were expecting ! they just had their menu! Saying this they gave great service, and food was good and offered some free drinks because of the price difference! For us we wanted something different so this was advertised so wrong on the experience so not sure who is at fault!   Was given this as a wedding present and what a present. Delicious choice cocktail on arrival, great choice on the menu. You could pay extra for different options. Side dishes were extra and we recommend the creamed spinach. My steak was delicious and full of flavour. The staff were superb and made us feel relaxed and they checked in on us throughout the meal

  Food is locally sourced so the menu changes accordingly. We both had the venison casserole which was delicious and plentiful. The owner was extremely obliging to accommodate our request following a voucher exchange and the service was extremely good There is also a small farm shop selling fresh produce, wonderful local cheeses and artisan bread. The only reason 5 stars not given is because it was a very cold day and we would have preferred the dining room to have been a little bit warmer!

  The last Drop Restauant is excellent, food, out of this world...go and try it but fo not use Activity Superstore. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE, IGNORE ALL EMAILS, I EVENTUALLY HAD TO RING AND ORGANISE MY OWN EXOERIENCE AS THEY WOULD NOT PICK UP THE PHONE ONLY EMAIL EVERY 2 DAYS TO CHASE, AFTER MONTHS OF THIS STUPIDITY I DID IT MYSELF. ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY THEY VOULDNT CARE LESS ABOUT ORGANISING YOUR EXPERIENCE. ZERO STARS TO ACTIVITY SUPERSTORE.
