What did you get up to?
The information provided by the supplier for finding the location was very clear and helpful.
Having been lucky enough to shoot a fair bit when I was younger, when I arrived at the location, it reminded me of the club I used to shoot at. Everyone was very friendly and really encouraging to all the people taking part, including their regular shooters.
We went down to the first trap and Craig took us through all the safety points and really reassured everyone that they were safe, provided these points were followed. From then, he talked us through the gun, how to stand and what to expect. I was the Ginny Pig who was first in to shoot so the rest could see as they knew I had shot before (added pressure).
We were lucky enough to shoot more than advertised on the voucher and used multiple different target types. When we finished we headed back to the club house and had a sausage “COB” to finish off. An enjoyable few hours and I would highly recommend.
What did you enjoy the most?
The experience really brought back a lot of great memories for me, especially the smell from the shot cartridge and how exciting it is to hit your targets!
Top Tip
Listen to the instructor and take your time when shooting, you have more time than you think.
