Bread Making Workshop for Two
£99
In a nutshell
- Make & bake 2 loaves
- With bread tin & local honey
- Monday evenings
Overview
This hands-on bread making workshop for two takes place in a real working bakery in Melton Mowbray, guided by a professional baker in a small, friendly group setting. Over the course of the session, participants are introduced to traditional bread making techniques in a relaxed and supportive environment. You will make a spelt dough from scratch, then leave it to prove while also preparing a spring onion and mature cheddar soda bread. Both loaves are baked during the workshop, giving you the chance to see the full process from mixing and shaping through to oven-fresh results.
Alongside the practical baking, there is time to recap the bread making process and enjoy a talk on the history of local grains and bread making. The setting is designed to be welcoming and informative, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions as you go.
At the end of the experience, you leave with two freshly baked loaves, a bread tin, and a jar of local honey to enjoy at home.
