The lucky gift recipient will experience this iconic car at the outstanding Mallory Park Circuit, nestled in the Leicestershire countryside. Drivers of all abilities are welcome and invited to enjoy this small but very fast, unique track experience. Watch out for 'Shaws hairpin', easily the tightest corner of any UK track!
Your day will begin with a welcome, introduction and safety briefing on circuit driving techniques. You will then typically receive three to four driving laps in an Audi R8.
This experience is available on selected weekdays, March to November.
This experience will last for approximately 1 hour.
The cars are shared between the drivers on the day.
You're welcome to bring family and friends along to watch you take to the track.
The minimum age for this activity is 17 years old.
The minimum height is 1.52m (5'). You must be under 1.98m (6'6") and weigh less than 117.5kg (18½ stone). This may not suitable for those who suffer from epilepsy or any physical disability. If in doubt please consult your doctor.
You must hold a full manual UK or European driving licence in order to participate.
The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking.

The drivers were really nice guys but I was in the car less than 5 minutes and so was the wife. We paid £160 for this experience so I expected more.

Christmas present wasted! Audi was in my opinion in poor condition. After a lengthy wait of nearly 2 hours, arrived at the car only to be informed that the gear box had limited range, third and fourth not available. To make matters worse this problem was known prior the event and the organisers were hoping it would last. The general feeling amongst the crowd was disappointment, the track offered no challenge and speed was limited by traffic congestion, this was echoed throughout the afternoon by countless people. Although some people genuinely enjoyed the experience I would not recommend it or ever purchase the experience for anyone. To conclude, waste of a day really for 5mins on a runway in a tatty tired car, I was glad to get in my own car and drive home.

Took me a long time to get around to making the arrangements, but it was well worth it. I went to York and I just did not expect it to be such a big event. 400 drives were booked for the day and the number and choice of cars was huge. I spent a good few hours observing after my drive was complete. Other rides and drives could be added on as well as a trip round the track with a pro driver which makes everyone else look like they are standing still. I did 6 miles in an Audi R8 which was amazing but observing some of the supercars were astonishing. The Aston Martin whistled around almost silently. Testosterone and sheer power were the order of the day but make no mistake, the girls made up about half of all the drives.

I thought overall it was a thrill bit I would love to say it was a great day but the experience lasted less than an hour from start to finish so for the money you pay I would of expected more for the money!!!!!

Wasn’t very impressed with the organisation of the day, very cold and left to stand in a que for over an hour considering my booked time was 3pm it was 4.30pm when I finally got to drive, just seemed like kids were actually calling names out and I had to ask several times when I was going. Very disappointed with it considering it was a present from my wife, no one seemed to know what was going on and no one was telling us we would have to wait that amount of time. I will not be recommending this day to anyone.

I was looking forward to completing 3 to 4 laps in the Audi R8 as this is the information you gave me via email prior to travelling up from Devon to do the experience. I left feeling really disappointed at only being able to do 2 laps which included one slow lap and one normal lap. This is one experience I'll be forgetting.
