Aston Martin, the UK's most famous brand of supercar, have been making the best looking cars for years and the V8 Vantage or DB9 are perhaps the best yet with gorgeous styling, luxurious interior and one of the best engine sounds you will hear! They combine three important elements: power, beauty and soul. These cars have fantastic paddle gear shift and an exhaust note to match!
Your day will begin with a welcome, introduction and safety briefing on circuit driving techniques. Depending on the venue, you may receive familiarisation laps with your instructor before taking to the wheel yourself.
Depending on venue you will drive either a V8 Vantage or a DB9.
At most locations you will then be awarded an individual driving certificate as a memento of your experience. Passenger rides can be purchased on the day.
This experience is available on selected weekdays, throughout the year.
Your experience will last for approximately 1 hour at the venue.
The cars are shared between the drivers on the day.
You're welcome to bring family and friends along to watch you take to the track.
All drivers must be at least 18 years old.
Maximum height 1.93m (6ft 4in) and minimum height 1.57m (5ft 2in). Max weight 102kg (16 stone). You will be asked to sign a disclaimer on the day, as you will not be covered for damage caused as a result of reckless and/or negligent driving.
A Full UK or European manual driving licence which must have been held for at least one year with no serious offences. You will need to speak fluent English in order to understand the instructor.
The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking.
This is for a voucher entitling the holder to any of the activities supplied by Activity Superstore up to the value stated.

Hello, My father and I received the Aston Martin experience as a gift. On purchasing the voucher codes, there was no sign of any additional fees to be paid, or that the voucher covered the bare minimum of the experience which was how it ended up. On validating the vouchers and booking the experience, extra fees were added due to the chosen date being on a weekend. We were also coaxed into paying for the insurance waiver so any damages that were incurred on the vehicle didn’t equate to a three or four figure bill; this seemed reasonable over the phone. Once at the track we soon realised the chances of damaging the car were slim to none. These fees turned a £50 gift into a £110 drive around a track. The fees were not compulsory, however should be included in the price or at least noted in the purchase of the voucher Once at Mallory Park, the staff were very friendly and got us through the signing in process very swiftly. My father and I eagerly awaited our mere 3 laps of the race track to start. But once we were in the drivers seat, we weren’t long out of it. The “experience” was exactly that, an “experience” of a super car, not quite a morning racing around a track. We were under the impression it would at least be extended somehow as when we booked over the phone and explained we wanted the same car, our time slots were half an hour behind each other, leading me to the false assumption I would get longer than 10 minutes behind the wheel. Not being in the car for longer than 10 minutes was not due to the fact we were speeding around the race track because we weren’t “speeding” at all. The car barely reached 60 mph because the instructor wouldn’t let us actually speed off! Granted the conditions were horrendously wet which cannot be helped. I understand that they‘re expensive cars and no one wants them written off but i couldn’t help but feel that my 1.4L A3 would’ve left the Aston Martin in the dust. It is often said “if you want to go fast, visit a race track where you can speed all you like”, this was proven wrong. After this morning it’s unlikely we will return for another 3 laps as it seemed quite pointless.

All information is stated on the back of the gift experience box, including any additional fees that are either compulsory or optional. As you have mentioned, with specific venues the voucher will only be valid to book from Monday - Friday however you are able to book at a weekend for a supplement fee, this is all stated and completely optional so I can only apologise if this information was missed.
As you can imagine, these experiences are very popular so cars and time slots do get booked up very quickly, I can only apologise if you and your father weren't booked in at the same time or one after the other. In regards to the experience while in the car, we do state that you will drive 3 laps which you did receive and I'm sorry if the weather that day did take away some of the excitement.

My colleagues purchased this activity for my birthday and booking it was a challenge as I needed a number from the receipt to activate my gift. So, embarrassing moments asking the person who had purchase the experience if they still had the receipt? Finally she tracked down the hard copy receipt which still did not have requested code! Booking was not easy to do on line which I put down to myself being quite senior and a little anxious about negotiating the activation process given there is a dead line. In the end I phoned through and spoke to a human. The Aston Martin was lovely but I was underwhelmed by the ‘experience’ as my instructor seemed really indifferent but I suppose she drives one all the time!

Received a voucher as a gift, but had to pay extra for everything. The next available date was 4 months away, so we had to pay a saturday premium. Then the only slot was 2pm but we had to pay a premium to take that 2pm slot. Once we got there we waited ages after our allocated time to have the ride. The track is extremely short and does not allow enough space for you to even get the cars up to top speed before the Instructor tells you to break. There are too many cars on the track so you have to slow to let other pass, which wastes your laps. The Instructor was very friendly and nice. I can now say I've driven a supercar. Woohoo.

Like all adventures the actual event is short but the wait long. It would have been helpful if we were warned prior to arriving that there is a considerable waiting time before your turn as we were told to arrive at 1230 and I did not drive until 20 pm and there was no shade on a hot airfield.
