What did your experience entail?
My partner and I booked at Revolution in Ipswich. We were running late due to traffic, so I called the venue and they were more than accommodating to keep our table reserved for us. Upon our arrival, we were shown to our booth which was by the window - and it was more than enough space for the two of us! We were first served our delicious hot chocolates with cream whilst we waited for our food to be prepared. A short while after, the food was served! We received mini burgers, chicken strips, jalapeno poppers along with cheesy bacon fries and some sauces. For dessert we had mini cheesecakes, mini brownies and a waffle with ice cream, strawberries, and caramel sauce. Our favourites were the mini burgers, then the waffle - both were yummy! Overall, the venue was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. All we had to do at the end of our tea was present the voucher to the bar and pay for any additional drinks we purchased.

I enjoyed that it was a different twist on your usual afternoon tea, having hot food instead of standard sandwiches along with a tasty range of desserts. Even a shot each was presented on the dessert board!

I would recommend revolution for afternoon tea anytime but I but advise anyone to steer clear of your company Activity superstore. As the only reason I was having afternoon tea was because your company sold a voucher for a helicopter flight that even after paying for it to be extended it still couldn't be honoured. That was unless we paid a hefty upgrade price.

Very disappointing experience , certainly not the afternoon tea we were expecting , packet mac/cheese, supermarket chicken nuggets , cold wedges, cream & waffles were gross, no drink with food was also a big fail . Will certainly not be back

Hi, The booking process, service over the phone directly to revolution, and availability was top quality, a good start to the booking! I was unaware of what Revs are but on arrival, its apparent as a late night bar. I am sure the evenings are good fun and busy and popular, the flat, slightly dirty, slightly slow atmosphere with poor service and 'adequate' food which didn't look like the marketed photos, didn't hit the mark sadly.

Conveniently located venue benefited from good interior design and plenty of room. Staff were very welcoming and efficient. We were shown to a nice booth area which was comfortable and warm, (two basics that too many venues can't get right!.) The food selection was a great mix of savouries to start and sweets to finish and all was very tasty. All washed down with lovely cocktails which were on a "happy hour" deal.

We had a lovely time and the food was tasty more the savoury section then the desserts. Just not alot for 2 people, also because my auntie was vegetarian, the whole afternoon tea had to be vegetarian. Was nice just don't know why they couldn't do half and half. Because we were seated in the preordered food section and no drinks came with the voucher had to keep getting up the the bar as there was no table service, which was OK but the bar was a bit away and the service was a little slow.
