Overview
Do you know someone who wants to learn to drift, well this introductory session is just the thing to get them started. They will receive a briefing, covering essential techniques like drift lines, throttle, braking, and track day safety etiquette.
They will then embark on an exhilarating journey with 4 sighting laps, including a fully sideways high-speed passenger lap in a BMW E90 Drift Taxi, followed by an adrenaline-pumping run on an ultimate street-derived course featuring Japanese Zen Garden Roundabouts.
They will then have 4 laps in the Mazda MX-5 NB and 4 laps in the BMW Drift Taxi, with the option to stay in their preferred drift car throughout the experience. Compete in the optional 'Drift Trophy Challenge', with one winner every month and an annual trophy up for grabs. The approximate duration of this unforgettable experience is 90 minutes. In case one vehicle is unavailable, they will be offered all their laps in the remaining available vehicle.
The Mazda MX5 is an excellent car to understand the basics of drifting, they have a small engine and short wheelbase, the lightweight bodies are perfect for getting the back end out and learning to control the slide. Perfect for the trial and error nature of learning to drift.
The BMW E90 is a custom-mapped Hybrid Turbo powered BMW. This provides a colossal 550NM of torque making it easy to spin up the rear wheels and initiate the drift. The long wheel base chassis aids the driver while transitioning the slide lock to lock making it the perfect car to learn how to drift.

What else do I need to know?
All drivers must be at least 17 years old and hold a full manual driving licence.
Maximum height 1.95m 1.88m (6ft 2'' vehicle dependant) and minimum height 1.54m (5ft 1in). Maximum weight 18 stone (114kg vehicle dependant). Drivers must be physically fit with no serious health conditions.
A full UK manual or international equivalent driving licence is required and will need to be presented on the day.
The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking.
