You will enjoy your afternoon tea in the stylish Restaurant 92, with boats soft furnishings and a calm and tranquil atmosphere, the perfect location for a relaxing afternoon tea.
On arrival you will be greeted by friendly staff who will seat you in the contemporary Restaurant 92. Your afternoon tea will include a selection of freshly made finger sandwiches such as smoked salmon with cream cheese, roasted sweet pepper with houmous, cucumber and soft cheese and honey glazed ham and mustard. You will also enjoy delicious lightly warmed sultana and plain scones served with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve and sweet treats and cakes. All to be washed down with a choice of traditional tea and herbal tea infusions. Once you’ve devoured your afternoon tea you will be perfectly placed to explore London.

Kicking off with a quick (and tasty) history lesson, Master Chocolatiers will guide you through the magical legends of chocolate, with the chance to sample plenty of exotic tasters along the way. With a bean-to-bar discovery and chocolate connoisseur tasting session, you’ll then be sampling raw cocoa nibs, 100% pure chocolate and special secret ingredients, for developing a discerning palate. Diving in to the chocolate making, you’ll be creating your very own personalised chocolate bark using professional dipping forks to create marbled effects.
After demonstrations from the Master Chocolatiers, the chocolate making and chocolate decorating continues with fresh-cream truffles. Guided by an expert chocolatier, you’ll dip, decorate and design your own delicious truffles with creative toppings like honeycomb and sea salt. You will leave with your very own personalised chocolate bark.

What did you get up to?
Upon arrival we were greeted by a staff member who showed us down to the restaurant were we waited to be seated.
After looking at the menu, I had chosen the chicken with a peppercorn sauce with chips and veg and my daughter chose the fish and chips. Both portions were of good size and cooked well, needless to say we devoured our dishes pretty quickly.
We ordered milkshakes which were amazing and thick! For dessert we both chose the chocolate brownie which did not disappoint although we made a typical school boy error and filled ourselves up on drinks and shakes meaning by the time we got to dessert we were pretty full and could only manage a few spoonfuls.
Every half an hour the tropical Rainforest that surrounded us started to rumble and flash to replicate a tropical thunder and lightning storm. Animals including monkeys, elephants and toads moved amongst the storm to create an animated real life jungle experience. My daughter seemed to enjoy this and took pleasure in soaking up the atmosphere and familiarising herself with the all of the different types of animals.
What did you enjoy the most?
The thick milkshakes were absolutely heavenly and I would even go as far to say it was probably one of the best milkshake’s I have ever had the pleasure of tasting.

Turned up on time, told by lady at the bar that we would have to wait 30-40 minutes as she was the one only member of staff available. She was courteous and gave us a free glass of Prosecco. The Afternoon Tea when it came was nice.

Upon arrival there was no staff on hand to show you to a table, we had to go back into reception and ask there. They then referred us back to the bar area where 2 waiters simply stared for a few minutes. When we were eventually shown to a table it took 20 minutes to bring any drinks. Including tea with no milk. I had to return to the bar to request this. After a further 10 minutes this arrived and I asked where the actual afternoon tea was. The waiter asked “oh you want the afternoon tea?”. Eventually this was brought out. We had no Explanation of what any of the items were. Also all of the tables around us were left dirty. Anytime we wanted anything, even a glass of water, we had to go to the bar as no staff were near by/working the floor. The food it’s self was nice and the only reason I gave this any stars at all. All in all, one of the worst customer experiences of my life and atrocious for a Hilton in the centre of London. Absolute waste of a voucher, go somewhere else!

The scones and cakes were amazing. Great portion. However the sandwiches were hardly filled and not even cut straight. They also didn't taste fresh, they were definitely made beforehand and stored in the fridge. There was dirty tables left from others who had been and gone. We spent about 2.5 hours here and purchased extra drinks but had to go to the bar as there was no service and our table was still left uncleared when we left! There are plenty of other great places who provide service and fresh sandwiches at a more reasonable price.

Very disappointing / we received tea 15 mins before food. Strange sandwiches including a hummus sandwich. Poor selection of cakes. Cheap jam for the scones!

Not happy waited 50 minutes for sandwiches only two other couples there and when they did come they were awful dried up at the ends and curling and the cakes were one big slosh. By this time the tea was cold and other couples also complained awful. Waitress kept telling us they had a new chef who was a very difficult person.
