We had a lovely 2 days at the Garstang country hotel. The room was large and very comfortable. Spotlessly clean. The staff were amazing, so kind and polite,nothing was much trouble. Breakfast was lovely with a huge variety and Dinner was excellent beautifully served. Would definitely stay there again. Bus stop just at the end of the road so no need to use the car. Brilliant.

Booked overnight stay at Ivy house and extended with property for additional two nights. Great location, friendly hosts,good breakfast. Also had steam train experience as part of package. Did lake train but unfortunately the length of trip was shorter than usual due to National grid work being carried out.

Had a lovely weekend, a lovely treat from my daughter but will not do it again as you dont get breakfast and you have to order evening meal.

A fantastic day out 3 journeys from wansford to peterbrough getting off at stations with time to explore before getting back on the train.
Station staff very friendly at each location at the end of the day they stood on the platforms at each station and waved to everybody would highly recomend plus excelant cafes and scenery along the route :)

perfect location for the main areas of Stratford. unusual glass viewing well inside the pub. our room was directly over looking a very noisy main road so tractors and lorries rumbled past throughout the night. manager on greeting us was a little rude at first arival but lightened up after a while.
