The Ford Mustang is probably the most iconic American muscle car of all time, featuring in many movies over the years, to make it one of the most recognised and treasured pieces of machinery all over the world.
After you have registered and received your welcome, you will then be given a briefing from your professional racing instructor. After which, you will get behind the wheel of the incredible GT350 for three laps/miles of the track.
This experience is available on selected dates subject to availability, throughout the year.
This experience will last approximately 2 hours.
This experience is for one person, there will be other people there on the day.
You are welcome to bring friends and family to watch you take to the track!
The minimum age is 17 years old.
Drivers must be fit and healthy and not suffer from any conditions that may impact their ability to drive the car safely. Maximum weight is 20st (127kg). Minimum height is 135cm (4ft 5").
You will be required to hold a full UK or European manual driving licence which must have been held for at least one year with no serious offences, this will need to be presented on the day.
The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking.

My daughter bought me a drive for my Birthday with Car Chase Heroes The day was really well organised from start to finish and ran very smoothly. I drove a GT350 Mustang which was a challenge as it’s a beast of a car but was made even better as I had seen it racing at Silverstone with my Father. I never thought in a million years that I would ever be able to drive it. Bought the photo Great memory

Birthday pressie, Drove the 1966 GT350 V8 mustang. Raw driving experience. No brake, clutch or steering assist, or any other modern abs, esp so fun trying to get grip with 450 bhp and similar torque. Fair price, not too busy on track, they assessed quickly the driving experience I had( karting, and past career in large oem race division) , so just let me get on with it. Can recommend. Professional and courteous staff, waiting times not too long.

Booked a mustang gt350.. Waited in line then told the car was in the workshop so could choose another car.. Choose another possible 3 but had to wait another 3 hours as they were booked out.. Only 3 cars I could drive in my session so choose 1 of them. It was OK at best. Booked 3 laps with one of the professionals.. Def good fun. Overall OK experience but choose a modern car as more fun as my 2 brothers found out.

Everything up to the point of getting in the car was great. All staff very welcoming when I arrived, I was informed that the GT350 was off the track and I'd been upgraded to the GT500. Excellent news as that is my dream car. Called through fairly promptly and whilst sitting waiting for my instructor I witnessed many very friendly instructors meeting people and having a chat as they approached the car. Sadly once my instructor arrived I realised I had been unlucky enough to get the grumpy curmudgeon. He didn't even greet me with a hello opting to instead lazily say "GT500?" I said yes and got nothing but a grunt in response. Now I want to preface the rest by saying I did the aerial atom a few years ago and got a fantastic instructor who gave me pointers on racing lines and speeds to enter corners. They actually gave me decent feedback on my driving after and overall I felt well looked after. Unfortunately the same can't be said for mister grumpy who honestly felt like he didn't want to be there. I understand things can go on in our personal lives but when the bulk of your job is customer facing you should be able to put that aside whilst at work. We spent the bulk of my drive in utter silence with the instructor only breaking it to insult my driving without any pointers on how I could improve. When I came in a little too hot to a hairpin bend he just muttered "no chance" over and over. When I asked what he meant he just sarcastically responded "was that good driving?". To which I replied "probably not", cue more silence from Grumpy McGrumpenstein. Once my time was over we pulled up and he filled in the comments card with what I can only assume is one of many lazy epithets he keeps in his backlog so he doesn't actually have to think of anything based on the persons driving. Finally the track was quite boring comprising of two hairpin bends at each end with two dog leg corners in the middle. The track I previously attended at RAF Honley I believe was much more interesting to drive on. I've given completely middling scores because I did get to drive my dream car and I loved that, service up to this point was excellent. However when I think back in years to come of the day I got to drive a GT500 I won't think about the sound of the engine or that the steering really was as heavy as people say mustangs are. But the fact I had to awkwardly sit in silence next to someone who appeared to despise every second of it.

We arrived at the requested time and booked in. A lot of pressure was applied to purchase a waiver at the exorbitant price of £29. I regrettably acceded to the request, but it was a waste of money. There was no training or any sighting lap, I was just asked to take the driving seat the car was put in gear and I was told to drive. Every part of the track ( which was small) I was given instructions as to what to do. I couldn’t even drive the car properly as I soon caught up to the car in front and had to follow that vehicle ( an Aston Martin) Altogether a very disappointing experience, which I would not recommend to anyone, it was a complete rip off
