What did you get up to?
We visited The Chequers of Orwell in Cambridgeshire to use our Gourmet Burger and Craft Beer for Two experience. Upon arrival we pulled up to a beautiful well-presented country pub. The cosy bar was furnished in a speak easy style with sofas and armchairs creating little pockets of space perfect for smaller parties. We sat down and ordered our drinks and food. We ordered an array of sides from their ample menu to create a sharing board starter and the vegetable samosas were so tasty! The Burgers were succulent and very filling, great value! We finished off our meal with a chocolate fondant, this was absolutely heavenly! For the quality of food and service I will definitely be returning.
What did you enjoy the most?
The best bit of this whole experience was the attentive and friendly staff. The team whilst professional were very friendly making us feel extremely comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome and were given the freedom to make use of all the space. We enjoyed a drink in the bar prior to dinner in the restaurant and then finished our drinks in the garden before departing.
1. Order the Chocolate Fondant for dessert, this was rich, decadent and definitely satisfying.
2. If the weather is warm be sure to sit next to the bifold doors in the restaurant!
3. Be sure to enjoy a drink in the bar prior to going through to the restaurant, make the most of that cosy atmosphere.

We booked through Activity Superstore to go to Revolution Bar in Cardiff using a gift from my kids. Emails were exchanged in a timely manner and was given a date of Sat 27th July 2024. When we arrived Revs weren't expecting us until Sun 28th July 2024. The venue confirm they had email Activity Superstore the Sun 28th July 2024 but Activity Superstore told us the 27th. Just lacking in attention to detail. After umming and arring as they were short staffed, they managed to fit us in. If it were not for the venue stepping up, this review may have gone differently. All in all the experience was good after getting over that initial hurdle.

This was a gift from our daughter for Christmas that we decided to use for our wedding anniversary. We went to revolution and received non other than top notch service from every single member of staff even when working out what they had to do at their end with the voucher.
