Generally you will spend an hour at the venue, but there is no set time.
This experience is for two people, there will be other people there on the day.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Some locations have a minimum age of 18 years old.

What did your experience entail?
We were given an Afternoon Tea menu where we could choose one sandwich filling described as “chunky” finger sandwiches in white or wholemeal brown from 8 choices which included meat and non meat varieties. A choice of scone, cheese or fruit, and a choice of cake from 7 different varieties. Beverages included English breakfast tea, fruit or mint teas, or a cafetiere of coffee (refills included) with the option to upgrade to include prosecco. As we had the Deluxe voucher we were also given a small bottle of prosecco each with a glass. After choosing our options we were presented with a three-tier plate stand each of which stood in the middle of the table with our food displayed. We had separate plates and cutlery to use for each course.
What did you enjoy the most?
The food all looked and tasted great and as we had chosen differing items we could try each others from the central tiers giving a bit more variety to the meal.
1. Make sure not to eat too much beforehand – there is plenty of food! We were full after the sandwiches and the scones and the staff kindly wrapped up our cakes in foil and placed them in a small white paper bag so we could bring home to eat later.
2. Booking in advance is advised as they do fill quickly inside 7 tables only, On a nicer day the garden looks lovely and gives another 7 tables outside.
3. A very nice location to come too with family and / or friends for a special occasion or just for tea and cake as all the products are lovely.

We had a lovely afternoon tea here. The food was really nice and as we were a group of 5 people they gave us a large room to ourselves. Dad uses a mobility scooter and the building had been well adapted for accessibility. Staff were welcoming and attentive.

We were met at reception and after agreeing the voucher were shown to a booth. The stand of sandwiches and cakes etc arrived quickly along with a pot of tea. The sandwiches were obviously prepared earlier but the real let down was seeing 4 fingers with different filling. All 4 would not of made 1 normal sandwich. The 4 cakes were also miniature. The scones however were warm and came with sufficient jam and cream. I’m assuming as this was a ‘voucher’ afternoon tea and free for me the quantity was reduced from normal for paying guests. Nice location but disappointed with the afternoon tea.

We only had 1 choice of filling for the sandwiches and just a scone rather than a selection of other cakes which we've always had previously when we've had afternoon tea so wouldn't go here again.

We have done a number of afternoon teas, and had a high expectation for booking one at this location. Was rather let down. Sandwiches poorly made and only filled in middle of bread. Scones cheap long life shop brought ones with a spoon of cream. Cakes a bit dry and shop brought. Expected home made and good quality. Would not visit again
