What did your experience entail?
I received my order for a Comedy Carnival show for me and my friend and upon attendance we enjoyed two hours full of laughter! We were pleasantly surprised at how pleasant the interior of the venue looked – the staff were also incredibly kind and made it a welcoming environment. The night consisted of three comedian sets with a host who began and concluded the event, as well as filled the gaps between them – the bar was also open for 30 minutes after the event ended if you wanted more drinks!
What did you enjoy the most?
Our favourite part of this was the host – he was extremely funny and he engaged the audience in between the performances of the three comedians!
1. Arrive early as then you have a wider choice of seats!
2. Order drinks/go to the toilet before the event starts as the intervals between acts are very short!

We had a great night at the frog and bucket comedy club in Manchester, we went for the ‘beat the frog’ world heats we got to see 9 acts battle it out each with 5 minutes to prove there right to win so all in all great night. Although I will say it’s quite a warm room and we were sat at the back which we still had a good view of the stage but the stools were quite uncomfortable to be sat on for 2 hours although there were breaks in between but anyone who had mobility issues I’d definitely request to be seated further towards the front on the normal chairs. Also you can’t get up and order from the bar it’s mobile ordered only via a QR code which was fine for us but for anyone who doesn’t have a mobile or isn’t good with technology this could be an issue but apart from those two things the venue was great and we had a good laugh and would definitely recommend.

Felt awkward and uncomfortable joining what appeared to be a night for locals in a local pub. Wasn’t enjoyable and I hugely regret cashing in my £35 voucher for 2 £7 tickets. I wish I’d exchanged it for a different event. We left the venue after 40 minutes we were so disappointed.

Very good comedy. Booking through activity superstore was a bit annoying. Was offered a choice of dates and venues. Our first selected dates were rejected by email after I selected them on their website as our voucher was not valid for this. Then had a number of emails to try to rearrange which was a little annoying although they were trying to be helpful. I will book direct next time.

It was a great night, we made new friends and enjoyed a laugh together. The venue was extremely welcoming and we had no trouble finding a seat. The only comment I would make is that the voucher stated that we needed to be there for 6.30pm which was far too early as the comedy does not start until 8.30pm.

Very happy and pleased with a great night's entertainment!! I would recommend a night out like this if you are looking for a laugh!! Drinks were not too expensive, service was good, venue was suitable but the bar area was closed during duration of show but nevertheless it was a great night's entertainment and will be going again!
