Treating yourself and a loved one to a classic afternoon tea is a wonderful way to spend quality time together while indulging in delicious treats. As you sip on a steaming cup of tea, you can catch up and enjoy each other's company in a cosy and inviting setting. Menus will typically comprise of a fluffy scone with cream and jam or an indulgent cake, these will be accompanied with a savoury bite or some sandwiches, what’s not to love! There's something for everyone to enjoy!
Our carefully selected tea rooms offer warm and welcoming surroundings, inviting you to relax and unwind as you enjoy your afternoon tea. With a wide range of venues available nationwide, you can easily find one that suits your preferences, whether you want to stay local or venture out on a trip to another part of the country. Each establishment has its own unique menu, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences.
This experience is available on selected dates, throughout the year. Restrictions may apply to certain venues.
Generally you will spend an hour at the venue, but there is no set time.
This experience is for two people, there will be other people there on the day.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Some locations have a minimum age of 18 years old.

What did you get up to?
We visited The Dog and Partridge, Ashbourne, Derbyshire for Afternoon tea for Two. We had been exploring the area with our dog and was delighted to be able to have our afternoon tea served in the bar which was a dog friendly area of the pub.
The Dog and Partridge Inn is located just set back from the main road, easy to find while traveling from the Peak District National Park.
What did you enjoy the most?
Our favourite part of the experience was the home-made cakes and scones. After a morning of walking the freshly prepared afternoon tea, served in a cozy pub was a delicious treat for all three of us!

We had a cream tea booked as part on an experience. The cream tea was lovely, if there was a complaint it would be that all the sandwiches had to be the same filling. A quaint little tea room which also does a Sunday roast!!

My husband and I went along to the Bull Hotel in Peterborough for an afternoon tea which was part of an activity present from my son. The venue at the Bull Hotel was fantastic as was the service. The staff at the hotel were also great seeing to our every need including providing non achoholic wine as I don't (can't) drink alcohol. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a nice afternoon out with tea, sandwiches and scones, yummy.

We had this as a present and the tea room was in a prime part of Glastonbury opposite the castle ruins. We could choose the filling for the sandwiches and we chose prawns which were lovely followed by a very nice scone with plenty of jam and cream. Excellent service too.

The Bull Hotel is a very nice location and a good environment for an afternoon tea. The only negative observation was the temperature of the food which was rather warm (ham, tuna etc).

A very friendly greeting when we arrived. A table was set ready for us and the Afternoon Tea was superb. The hot sausage roll, selection of sandwiches, the scone with cream and jam followed by home made cakes and cookies, all lovely. The pot of tea was a lovely blend. Very helpful and friendly staff, clean and tidy restaurant, good car park and easy to find.

On arrival I showed the waiter the e.mail that confirmed my booking and the afternoon tea for 2. There was some confusing about this, so I showed him the voucher, eventually all was well and because my daughter in law who accompanied me who was vegeterian we asked for the vegetarian option and said we would pay any difference. We were offered prosseco and took it and then the sandwiches and cakes arrived. We were very satisfied with the food given, and asked for the bill, the waiter said we would have to pay for the prosseco, but later said there was nothing to pay. This was exeptional value, and in my opinion way above the cost of the voucher, many thanks.
