The session begins with a warm welcome and a fascinating introduction to the history of terrariums, before getting stuck into the practical part. With guidance throughout, participants learn how to build the essential layers, prepare their plants and arrange them inside the terrarium. Decorative stones and moss add the finishing touches, creating a self-contained garden with its own miniature ecosystem.

There’s also plenty of advice on caring for the finished terrarium, which needs very little maintenance once established. Ongoing care support is available too, should any plant-related questions crop up later.
