Experience the magic of London’s famous West End with this fantastic experience which includes a tasty meal for two and a pair of theatre tickets to see the smash hit musical, Wicked.

A spin on the classic The Wizard of Oz, Wicked spotlights the untold stories of Oz’s most recognised characters, namely the Wicked Witch of the West and her unlikely friend, Glinda the Good. The show follows green-skinned star Elphaba from birth to college and through the life-changing events which eventually label her “wicked”. A cautionary tale about love, friendship and trust, Wicked effortlessly reveals that there are, indeed, two sides to every story.

The evening begins with a delicious two-course pre-theatre meal, a set menu at a selection of restaurants which have been especially chosen to be within easy walking distance to the theatre, usually Prezzo in Victoria Place.

You will then be able to enjoy the smash hit show Wicked, a prequel to the well-loved Wizard of Oz. Watch the story unfold of two young witches with very different destinies, set to a soundtrack of outstanding music and dramatic special effects. Your seats will typically be in the circle.

What did you get up to?
I decided to attend the Wednesday Matinee show and I am so glad I did. The atmosphere was amazing, and although I’m not one to see shows twice I would be 100% return to Wicked!
We were seated front row of the circle with a perfect view of the stage.
The story is a brilliant twist on the well known and loved Wizard of Oz, which furthermore added enjoyment to what was an unforgettable show.
We chose from the pre-theatre menu at Browns, situated 2 minutes from the theatre and directly next to Victoria station. The food was delicious and a really great way to end the day of fun.

What did you enjoy the most?
Whilst the performance was incredible and of course the main event of the day, the audience made it even more memorable with their encouraging applause and cheering throughout.

Top Tip

I would recommend printing off the confirmation from Encore twice as they want to see it at both the theatre and the restaurant.

This exprience is perfect for anyone who loves going to dinner and a theatre show. Me and my fiance Gary went to this exprience as a belated 30th birthday present and WOW it was worth it. The meal at Sicily's Italian Restraunt was absolutely delicous, we had two course meal from a set menu of speghetti bologense followed by a lovely dessert of Italian ice cream and my partner had Tiramissu. Then we went to the Apollo Theatre which was 10 walk away from the victoria train station and theatre, We was greeted with loads of Wicked fans who complimented on our Wicked inspired outfits and we even bought some merchandise that were very well priced. We sat in Row ZD seats 40 & 41 and the view was very good as we got to see the whole stage and the show itself was so magical and it was our very 1st time seeing this amazing musical. Massive thank you to everyone for making our wonderful exprience so magical and WICKED! :D x x x

Overall good experience, sicily restaurant disappointing service and overcharged on added bill. Food was average and not much choice on set menu. Overworked waiter forgetful and left us waiting on couple of occasions and couldnt get his attention without looking across rows of tables who then thought you were looking at them. Crammed in, tables too close together. Theatre was very good, great idea of ordering from your seat. Found it strange that the whole seated section to my left in the stalls was empty. We ended up asking to move and was allowed to go into that section about 20 odds rows ahead which was good. Good value for money overall. Restaurant let it down a bit.

Although it was quite complicated (it seemed at the time) booking the venue and date. It all worked out well. The only thing was that since booking, my wife got a painful knee and it was difficult climbing the steps up to the royal circle. The restaurant that was also booked was a good 15min walk from the theatre. But that is not the fault of Activity.
