Experience a sightseeing trip of your life down the River Thames with Thames Rockets. Blast your way from the iconic London Eye Pier for a 50 minute speedboat tour and take in the incredible sights that London has to offer from Big Ben to Tower Bridge, with plenty of photo taking opportunities.
Once you have arrived at London Eye Pier you will be kitted out with waterproofs and a life jacket and met by one of their award winning guides, handpicked to provide you with a history lesson with a comical twist. Think you know London? Think again! Hear the 880 horsepower engines rev up Rocket style and whoop as you whoosh up to speeds of 30 knots. Twist and turn along the Thames, past Big Ben and Tower of London, with a bespoke medley of thrilling classics playing in the background to get you in the mood.
Though be prepared, you may experience a bit of a splash from the waves rushing past...are you ready for a tour like no other?
This experience is available Monday to Sunday from March to October and Thursday to Sunday from November to February, subject to availability.
The experience will last 50 minutes.
This experience is for one person, there will be other people with you on the day.
Spectators are able to stand on the pier to watch you depart.
There is no minimum age, under 14s must be accompanied by a paying parent or guardian.
Please inform at the time of booking if you have any medical problems. Without exception, expectant mothers are not permitted on-board at any stage of their pregnancy.
You will be provided with waterproofs and life jackets.

What did you get up to?
We arrived at the London Eye pier and were welcomed by one of the friendly members of staff. Whilst we waited for the speedboat, we were given our life jackets followed by a safety briefing from our tour guide, Craig. He was a great guide who made us all laugh whilst educating us about the beautiful landmarks in London including London Bridge, the Globe Theatre, Houses of Parliament and many others. Even though the experience was exhilarating, Nick the Skipper made us all feel safe whilst we were on the boat. Overall the experience was great and I would recommend this for anyone and everyone, especially those that love feeling of adrenaline oozing through their veins!
What did you enjoy the most?
The feeling of the wind going through my hair as we whipped along the Thames!

I can't rate this experience high enough. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and supplied rocket coats to keep us warm. Big shout out to Stacey she was outstanding with her knowledge and the fun way she put the history across. The ride itself was exhilarating and thoroughly enjoyable and the music complimented our experience. Absolutely loved it want to go again!
