Snowboarding was invented in the 1960's in the USA and has since grown in popularity all around the world. Considered to be one of the more difficult but ultimately thrilling extreme sports, snowboarding requires you to carve and meander your way down a slope while staying firmly strapped to your board. Experts are able to perform gravity-defying tricks and reach speeds of over 80mph! You may not be learning how to do this just yet, but these lessons are the best way to enjoy snowboarding right here in the UK.
You may be asked to arrive up to half an hour before your appointed lesson time to give you time to collect your equipment and get changed. Then you will have an initial safety briefing and you're off to the artificial snow slopes! The equipment provided for you on the day will be boots, boards and binding and head protection, don't forget to wrap up warm though!.
On booking it's important you state your level of experience so that you can be put into the correct lesson to match your ability.
