What an excellent afternoon out. After providing the passcode we entered into the secret front and we greeted by Sherlocks friendly assistant. We were taken into the speakeasy when the afternoons experience was fully explained by our host Shamrock. We worked our way through the puzzles provided which had just the right degree of difficulty. The tea was a beautiful tasty mix of sandwiches, rolls and cakes . My only one negative was the scones which were like a brick. Whilst I understand that the food is made off premises I suggest that the scones aren’t microwaved before being bought to the table . Whilst they might be warm when delivered this only makes them hard as they cool. Who eats the scones before the savoury treats. That said we had a great afternoon and would certainly recommend the venue as a fun and enjoyable afternoon . Thank you
