Overview
The Great Game is a unique treasure hunt with real treasure, perfect for the amateur detective or when you're stuck for something to do!
Can you crack the codes, solve the puzzles and use your compass to find the treasure? If you are successful you will explore the city and reveal where to draw the X on your treasure map. The treasure is 20% off your total food and drink bill at the pub marked by the X.
Your adventure will begin at The Marquis of Granby Pub on Rathbone Street and is a 4 mile route, including 3 great pubs scattered across Central London. During your experience you can take in some of London's most famous sights, whilst exploring areas away from the tourist hot spots.
Please remember to bring a valid ID with you for the pubs and a hard or digital copy of the treasure hunt. If you have a digital copy, it is advised you print out all sheets and bring a compass with you. Or if you do not wish to print these documents out, please bring a pen and paper to help solve some clues. There is also a compass on the map which can be used.
Under 18's with a guardian are welcome, however are not permitted in the bar area after 9pm. Please note that the kitchen opening times will be different, in general they close 2 hours before bar times.
