Please note that this experience is available to all children who meet the minimum height requirement of 134cm (4ft 5'') to 147cm (4ft 10''), depending on the location. Some locations have a minimum age restriction of 11 years while others have no age restriction. All participants must be under the age of 17. Please note a supplement may be payable at premium locations.

• When can I go?

  This experience is available on selected dates, throughout the year, subject to availability.

• How long will my experience last?

  You will spend approximately 2 hours at the venue.

• How many people is this experience for?

  This experience is for one child, there will be an instructor in the car.

• Can I bring family and friends?

  An adult must be present, you are welcome to bring friends and family to watch.

• What else do I need to know?

  • The minimum age is dependant on location, the maximum age is 16 years old.

  • This experience is available to all children who meet the minimum height requirement of 135cm (4ft 4") to 147cm (4ft 10") dependent on location.

  • You will need to speak fluent English in order to understand the instructor. A parent or guardian is required to sign a waiver.

  • The parent or guardian of the driver will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. You will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise the financial exposure should there be an accident. You are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking.

  • This is for a voucher entitling the holder to any of the activities supplied by Activity Superstore up to the value stated.

  I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son in 2019 but due to covid restrictions have only just managed to use it. Activity Superstore extended the validity period and booking was simple and we were kept informed throughout. The day itself ran smoothly and my son thoroughly enjoyed his experience. On the day I was tempted to have a go as well and got to select a Ferrari from a wide range of cars. So glad I did as it was great fun and good value. All the staff on the day were professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend this experience for and budding drivers.

  This gift certificate was a Christmas present for my children. They decided on the Supercar Taster. You received a chance to drive a sports car yourself and then they had a ride in a racing car that went 0-60 in just over 2 seconds. We paid £10 each extra for this as an upgrade from the offered fast car. It was thrilling for them. The whole experience was excellent. I just wish the Car Chase Hero's had a contact number. They did communicate on line with me effectively though.

  I brought this experience for my son as an xmas present at a cost of £45 and from the start it was a drama. There were no dates at the location I wanted with the car I specifically brought the experience for. After several months and emails back and forth I got the preferred location and car but it had to be on a school day or I would have to pay extra for a Saturday. Upon arrival I was asked to pay an additional £25 wavering the excess if there happened to be an accident, when I said I didn't want to purchase it the lady rudely said to me "have you got a card with £5000 on it then that you can leave with me?" I did not so was told that I would have to purchase the waiver. The experience box says a 1-2 hour experience that actually lasted 15 mins max and the high speed lap around the airfield was not in the car that my son had driven in but a completely different car that he was not interested in but this was not specified on the box. Spectating was to far away to be able to capture any pictures of videos of the experience, I could not even get a picture of my son standing near the car. Options to purchase pictures and videos at the end of the experience were given but the picture at a cost of £10 was of the car only, not my son and the video was taken from inside the car at a cost of £40 which was way to high. On the whole bitterly disappointed and would not purchase another experience again.

    Thank you for your feedback on the Junior Supercar Taster. Firstly I'm sorry to hear that you had a difficult time with booking in the experience for your son, this is not what we want to hear. On the gift experience pack that was originally purchased, we do explain that there may be supplement fees to pay on specific days and ''A parent or guardian will be required to sign a waiver, accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. You have the option to purchase a damage waiver which covers when booking to minimise financial exposure, should there be an accident.'' I do apologise if this information was missed or unclear. In regards to the driving time that you mention, in the experience information we do mention ''You will spend approximately 2 hours at the venue, with 3 miles driving.'' This timing approximation is from when you first arrive, wait time, drive time until you leave. I do apologise if you felt the drive time for your son would be a longer. For the high speed passenger ride that your son got to enjoy we do state - ''they will also receive an unforgettable passenger ride round the track in a BMW M Sport Saloon by an expert instructor.'' I'm sorry if this information was overlooked. I'm sorry to hear that you were not close enough to the experience to get a picture of your son, I understand this must have been frustrating however for your safety you could not be any closer. I'm very sorry that you were disappointed on the whole however I do hope that your son enjoyed driving the Lamborghini. Thank you again for your review.

  Bought this for my ten year old son. Really glad I did, he loved it even though he’s not that into cars. Was something really different and a memory to talk about for years to come... his first driving experience ever, in a Lamborghini! Cost was ok but easy to rack up more expense but was worth it as a very special present and we would go back in the future. Also would like to mention staff on day were very friendly. I left my mobile on-site accidentally and chaps were very helpful in getting it returned to me..... thank you

  Apart from choosing one of the wettest days, the day was very well organised, my son absolutely loved it ... and now has the audi r8 set for his first car !! Although the pushed / forced EXTRA insurance we wasn't happy with .... this should be added to the voucher cost. They tell you its your option to take it out yet if you don't pay it was told my son couldn't do the experience so we had to cave and pay! You are even liable for damage to your car if a stone flicks up from another car and hits yours ! Also if this has been brought as a gift for, someone they are still having to pay out on the day. We purchased the photos & video package too ...this arrived via email and was a very high quality and a nice memento of the day. So overall fantastic...... but just remember to take an extra £25 for the Extra insurance!!!!

  I bought a junior driver experience for my son on line and had the voucher delivered to me. He loved being able to drive a Lamborghini but was very disappointed at the experience only lasting a few minutes. There were extra charges for insurance, extra laps and added passengers for the high speed drive which was in a BMW. We were under the impression this would be in the Lamborghini. So despite the day costing twice as much than expected, my son enjoyed it and will always remember the first car he ever drove.

  My 11 year old son had the best day ever Seeing that we had to do this in the rubbish year of 2020, I was worried but shouldn't have. They made sure people were careful and social distanced as much as possible. My son was in ore of all the amazing cars they had. He drove 2 cars and also got to do laps in an old mini with santander and a speed lap in a subaru. I would 100% recommend.

  It has never been mentioned to me ,that extra £25 for car insurance to be paid uppon arrival . Cars are looking dated and it’s just a 5 min ride...

  I bought this experience as a gift voucher for my sons Christmas present he was so looking forward to it but he said it was an anticlimax. Not something I wanted to hear but he was right. The voucher said that he would get a driving experience of his life with a qualified driver. It didn't happen and no explanation why. Must dissapointed you let my son down. Why.

  I bought this for my 14 year old daughter, as time got closer the nervous she became. The day arrived and she was so scared I really thought she would bail. As her name was called I explained to the man that she was so scared, he came and sat on the ground next to her and spent agea with her reassuring her. Finally she got in the car and she was off. As she got out I nervously waited to see how she had got. Her exact words "best day ever!"
