Young teen enjoyed the drive in the Lamborghini Hurucan and his hot lap - pride and unnerving for parents watching. The cars under Junior days are dual control pedals and are assisted verbally with gear changing when using padels. He got upto a good speed he tells me! Prestwold is on an old airfield and spectator visibility is limited to 100m straight and last bend before coming in, but there is a nice anticipation if you are watching your son or daughter. Don't expect to see it all. It was a wet day so be prepared and take a big brolly. Food on site is limited, one catering van, but you can get a hot drink and race track fayre. There is shelter if needed. Very little waiting around, pretty accurate on driver time. Ability to add extras on the day. A demo lap is NOT included but it should be - sort that out Everyman. Plus your hot lap is NOT in the car you have chosen - another questionable extra. Staff were kind and helpful, great for making memories but you definitely need to pay more for a fuller experience. Junior Tasters are at airfields rather than premier race track sites so there is little opportunity to look at the cars, talk about the cars to drivers / owners etc so I would prefer an experience at a race track, museum or car festival as this gives you a whole day immersed in cars/supercars. Just something to consider.
