If you’re a petrol head looking to broaden your horizons in the world of driving, a half day rallying gift experience is the perfect way to set you on the right track!
Designed to tackle any terrain, whatever the weather, rally cars offer a driving experience like no other, where you’ll truly feel every turn and twist of your chosen track, as well as of course sheer power and speed, so you’re in for a real treat with this session.
Along the way, you’ll have the chance to try out hand brake turns, controlled opposite lock slides and hone your rally driving techniques.
You’ll be able to enjoy the thrill of rallying at a selection of tracks situated across the UK, so if you’re looking to experience something that will truly send your adrenaline levels through the roof, this is the perfect gift!
After a warm welcome from your instructor they’ll introduce you to the key features and controls of the rally car. This will be whilst you’re in the vehicle itself, so you’ll easily familiarise yourself with how the vehicle operates before you hop in the driver’s seat yourself. Also take this as an opportunity to ask any questions after all that’s what the instructors are there for!
The first lap will be an opportunity for you to see the course before its time to unleash your inner Fast and Furious persona! You’ll enjoy 4 more heart-racing laps in the rally car, tackling the track as you move in and out of the cones and tyres. There’s an intercom system built into the car, enabling you to stay in contact with the instructor whilst you drive so rest assured you’ll truly experience rally driving to its full potential.
You’ll have a short breather before it’s time to take a second car for a spin for five thrilling laps. You’ll leave with a certificate to commemorate this thrilling experience, along with your score sheets.
You’ll be required to sign a disclaimer and will be provided with the option to purchase an optional damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure in the event of an accident. Full details are available at the point of the booking and drivers are under no obligation to purchase this waiver.
Days of the week vary depending on the location, typically March to November.
The activity lasts approximately 3 to 4 hours (depending on the location and weather conditions).
Driving is on a one to one basis but the car is shared with other voucher holders on the day.
You're welcome to bring a maximum of two spectators over 11 years old but there may be a charge on the day. Due to the nature of this activity facilities are normally basic.
You need to be at least 18 years old.
This rallying course isn't suitable for those with heart problems. The maximum weight is 18st (114kg), the maximum height is 1.95m (6ft 4") and the minimum height is 1.47m (4ft 10"). You may be asked to sign a disclaimer on the day.
A full valid UK or European manual driving licence is essential and must have been held for at least one year. You will need to present it on the day, photocopies will not be accepted.
