Have you ever wondered what it would be like to experience the thrill of driving a fire engine? Well, here’s your chance! This exciting fire engine driving experience will allow the lucky recipient to jump behind the wheel of this mighty beast, over 10 metres in length, for 15 minutes with a qualified instructor.
Your day will begin with a briefing and then you will be taken out to the track to test your driving skills in an impressive fire engine. You will get to carefully manoeuvre this mighty vehicle through slaloms and then have a go at reversing. Your instructor will provide helpful tips and feedback to help you get the most out of this exciting experience.
There will be the opportunity to purchase professional photographs of yourself driving and you will also be able to collect a certificate to take home with you. This session really will be an eye opener to any driving fanatic!
Important Information:
This experience runs on selected weekdays, March to November.
You’ll spend approximately 1 hour at the venue, the experience will last approximately 15 minutes.
This experience is for 1 person.
Spectators are welcome, individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
The minimum age is 10 years old. Individuals under the age of 18 need parental/guardian consent.
Maximum height is 193cm (6ft 4"), the minimum height is 147cm (4ft 10"). Maximum weight is 127kg (20st). Individuals who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted. You must be in good health and wear glasses if required.
A full UK or European manual driving licence is required and will need to be presented on the day.
The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking.
