Members are not acquiring any of the bloodstock equity and therefore there are no ongoing costs for training fees or vet bills or indeed any of the costs normally associated with racehorse ownership. The Club maintains an average of 25 horses across the training and breeding regimes.

The Battle Proms offers the opportunity to enjoy a glorious summer evening set in the grounds of some of the UK’s most celebrated stately homes. As well as a full orchestral programme there’s a parachute display, historic mounted cavalry, spectacular fireworks and Spitfire display on the bill, and all of this will be enjoyed whilst you savour the delights of a delicious freshly prepared picnic!
The show kicks off with a colourful display of British cavalry through the ages, then it’s time to look to the skies to watch a stunning parachute display by the Red Devils. The musical entertainment begins with a live warm-up act to get the toes tapping and wine corks popping, and then the evening gun salute heralds the commencement of the orchestral programme and the arrival of Britain’s favourite warplane. Amidst a volley of gunfire, you’ll hear the unmistakable sound of the Spitfire engine rumbling overhead, followed by a meticulously choreographed aerial display which takes place in the evening sky above.
The New English Concert Orchestra take to the stage with classical favourites such as the event’s signature piece, Beethoven's 'Battle Symphony', with a full complement of nearly 200 cannons, plus musket fire and fireworks providing a unique and breath-taking musical performance! The evening will close with a traditional flag-waving sing-along finale including Jerusalem, Rule Britannia and more, culminating in a dazzling fireworks extravaganza.

A getaway with a difference, enjoy a one night stay in a hobbit style hut situated in the beautiful Somerset countryside. The huts are in a private garden right next to a barn full of friendly reindeer and white horses who are just waiting for a visit from guests. Each hut has a large fire at it’s centre which guests can cook on as well as giving warmth and an atmospheric glow. Logs are available to keep it alight, there are electric sockets too for added convenience. The toilet/showers are situated 20 meters from the hut. Guests can also visit the outdoor bar which serves local ciders, beers and cocktails, also juice and milkshakes for the children.
Once settled in the ‘Meet the Reindeer’ session will start with an informative talk which is filled with plenty of interesting reindeer facts as well as a few health and safety tips. The ranch owner will demonstrate how to care for and feed the reindeer before it’s time to spend some quality time with one of Santa’s elite sleigh pulling team. The lucky guests will have plenty of opportunities to take some wonderful pictures with their new fuzzy nosed friend when they feed the special lichen by hand.
After their time with the reindeer they will receive a warming hot chocolate with marshmallows each and have the opportunity to take a stroll around the ranch to meet all the other animal residents, ranging from emus, pigs, skunks to horses, and of course, the friendly snow dogs. A friendly reindeer herder is always on hand to answer any burning questions.

This unique communal dining experience will see you sitting in the heart of the kitchen at ‘8’ watching a brigade of chefs led by Andrew Sheridan create a mouth-watering twelve course tasting menu.
You and your guest will be seated at 7:30pm at the kitchen table. A communal dining experience where you will be served a tantalising set menu in the heart of the kitchen.
You will be able to watch the chefs produce mouth watering dishes right before your eyes! A drinks pairing is available at an additional cost which will elevate your experience of this unique restaurant.
The tasting menu can accommodate dietary requirements at prior notice, unfortunately this venue is not able to cater to veganism due to their style of cooking and products used within this busy kitchen environment.
Please note this experience is available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday for lunch or dinner. Friday and Saturday evenings are available for a supplement fee of £15 per person to be paid on arrival.

You will embark on a two hour tour to see some of the most endangers species of cat in the world, learning about the many different breeds, their habitats and conservation status. The sanctuary is home to lions, tigers, leopards, cheetahs, jaguars and many more magnificent big cats, remember to keep your eyes open for the incredibly rare White lions and tigers.
You will also have the incredible opportunity to get up really close to hand feed one of the beautiful big cats.
