This experience is the perfect introduction to the world of supercars. Which supercars will you choose? The Aston Martin DB9 or V8, Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari 435, the beautiful Audi R8, Nissan GT-R, Porsche GT3 997 or the BMW M3. Please note that not all supercars are available at all locations, please check on booking.
Your experience will begin with a welcome, introduction and safety briefing on driving techniques. Then it’s your turn to get behind the wheels of your chosen supercars for three miles on a challenging driving track. Your session will finish with a high speed passenger ride in a high performance vehicle such as a Subaru Impreza, BMW M3 or a Lotus Elise.
You will be presented with an individual driving certificate as a memento of your day.
This experience runs on selected weekday dates, March to November. Please check availability on booking.
Your experience will last approximately 2 hours (3 miles in each car).
Your instruction in the car will be on a one-to-one basis, there will be other people there on the day who are out on the track at the same time.
Spectators are able to watch you take part in your experience, but children must be supervised at all times.
The minimum age for this experience is 17 years old.
The maximum height for this activity is 1.95m (6ft 4") and the minimum height is 1.47m (5ft). The maximum weight is 114kg (18st). You will need to speak fluent English in order to understand the instructor.
A full UK or European manual driving licence is required and will need to be presented on the day.
The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking.

What did you get up to?
I arrived at 1pm for my 2pm Fantastic 4 experience. Weather was great and I was looking forward to driving the supercars with the roof down, sunglasses on, afro up and feeling the breeze. I selected Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin and the Ariel Atom. The staff were lovely and briefed all the drivers on the process and staying safe whilst on the racetrack. The gentleman who briefed us offered to reorder my selection so that I drove the harder cars at the end which was a massive help. Once we were led to the tracks, all the cars were lined up and I could feel the excitement in the waiting area while watching the other cars whiz past. I was called up for my first car, the Ferrari. The instructor was very helpful, explained the controls, the track and I was off. I went wild (but not too wild), it was absolutely thrilling and race-like with few moments of overtaking other drivers on the track, talk of scary! I then went on to the Lamborghini (very pretty car), Aston Martin and by the time I got to the Ariel Atom, I can say I had mastered the track. As the Ariel Atom was manual and trickier to control, I am glad I had taken the staff tip to drive it last, it was super enjoyable and being able to race in it was the absolute thrill I came for! I would definitely recommend this experience for all petrol heads out there and you get a free high-speed passenger ride, so you get to see how the pros do it. What more could you ask for?

My favourite car was the Ariel Atom as it was the most challenging.
If you choose the Ariel Atom, drive it last as it feels better when you have got the hang of the track since it’s a bit tricky to control.

This was bought as a gift for my Son. Previously we have purchased one of these experiences and he has driven at Long Marston in Stratford upon Avon. We wanted to go back there but were dismayed to hear it was now a building site! We eventually opted for Great Tew in Oxford, simply due to it being the nearest to our home. This is apparently another track being removed from the choices too! We arrived on a wet day, to find a very small place compared to what we had previously experienced. My Son chose to drive the Audi R8, Nissan GTR, Lamborghini Gallardo and Ferrari 430. He felt that the Ferrari was rather 'used' and not up the standard of the other cars, which was a bit disappointing. He enjoyed driving the cars and experiencing the differences between them, and was pleasantly surprised by the Nissan and it's performance. He felt it was by far the best of the bunch. He found all of the instructors to be friendly, informative and personable.

A Christmas Present and couldnt wait to enjoy it. Very professional and organised. A great taster, will do more laps next time. Elvington is a challenging circuit not just a series of straights. The high speed passenger rides got in the way a bit and the Aston Martin was a little old and tired. Apart from that no complaints. The Lambo was by far the best. The GTR and A8 were a very close 2nd. Food and drink available, not too expensive All in all, a great experience and will be doing it again

My wife brought this voucher during the pandemic, so I have waited while to use this. We had wanted 3 Sisters in Wigan, but had to book Prestwold, and so glad we did. They say save the best til last! When I first arrived I was told that the Jag was out of service, so it was replaced by the Porche, but they gave me a choice to change. I had the fabulous 4 as chose the other 3 cars of a Lamborghini, Ferrari and Aston Martin. The venue, the cars, the staff, all were above what I had expected. The drivers that accompanied you were very helpful and put you at ease, seeing as though I had never driven any of these cars in my life! Then they would score you out of 40 (I did good 34/40 on each car). The thrill of driving these cars is amazing and I would definitely do this again. The whole experience was well organised and the staff were excellent. My only gripe is that cost of the photos etc. I purchase the SD card at a cost of £30, but then they wanted another £25 to transfer them and then more money to print photos. I think this is an expensive memory and reall should be a little cheaper. Other than that, a brilliant day - even my wife went in the Atom which she really enjoyed. I would definitely do this again and recommend this to anyone young or old who doesn't know what to buy for a present. Thank you Prestwold for a magnificent day.
