Karting is considered to be the perfect starting point for all those wishing to get into racing and surprisingly, in a quick kart, it is one of the closest things to racing in a Formula 1 car! Perhaps you believe you could be the next British Formula 1 World Champion or recreate the success of Michael Schumacher then what are you waiting for? Get racing and get caught by the racing bug!
For this experience you just turn up and go racing!
This experience is available on selected dates, throughout the year.
This experience will last approximately 1 hour with 20 minutes drive time.
This experience is for one person, there will be other people there on the day.
You're welcome to bring spectators to watch.
This experience is available for children ages between 8 and 15 years.
The minimum height is 1.28m (4ft 2in) and the maximum is 1.58m (5ft 2in).

What did you get up to?
I took my 9-year-old brother with me on this experience, and we visited Teamsport Edmonton. When we entered the reception area, the staff were very friendly and attentive and gave my brother his balaclava and gear to get changed into! We were advised to wait in a bar area to be collected by a staff member for the briefing that takes place before the experience; this lasted in total about 15 minutes and my brother found this to be very informative. On completion on the briefing, we were taken track side where we were able to sit and watch my brother take to the wheel!
What did you enjoy the most?
Our favourite part of this experience was watching my brother race! It took a few laps for him to build his confidence and get into it, but as soon as he found it, he was whizzing around! The whole journey home was spent telling us how much he loved it and wants to go back!
1. Bring a balaclava with you – or feel free to purchase one on reception on the day!
2. Try the bar after your visit! They offer a great range of food and drinks.
3. Be sure you arrive 40 minutes early in order to get changed and have your briefing!
