This experience enables you to create a fragrance that is not just as unique as you, but one that you will love to wear on special occasions.
Whether you want to add a bit of spice from the Orient, stay chilled with the relaxing notes of amber, evoke romance with rose, or really hot things up with a heady and stimulating jasmine mix, there is something for everyone!
On arrival to the hotel, you will both be greeted with a glass of bubbly, followed by a fragrance consultation. It is then time to start the fun part, smelling the 21 amazing blends and creating your signature perfume or cologne! Once you’ve named your new creation you will then choose a 20ml atomiser to compliment it. Choose from a range of stunning atomisers that will sit proudly on your bathroom shelf, or slip into a purse or handbag with ease.
The experience also includes a full membership to The Perfume Studio, which includes registration of your fragrance in their library.
This experience is generally available on selected Saturday dates, throughout the year. Other days of the week may be bookable depending on location.
This experience will last approximately 1 to 2 hours.
This experience is for two people, there will be other people there on the day.
There is no minimum age however, under 16's must be accompanied by a paying adult.

What did your experience entail?
We visited a really lovely venue that was light, airy and stylish, which set a great tone for the session. The experience took place in a private room just off the main café, which gave us plenty of space and a relaxed atmosphere, while still feeling bright and welcoming.
On arrival, the host was polite and friendly and pointed out where to sit and where the facilities were. The session itself started a little later than planned (around 20 minutes late as they finished setting up), but we were very comfortable while we waited.
Once it began, we spent around two hours learning all about different fragrance notes, how scents can complement or overpower each other, and even how different personality traits can match certain fragrances which was a fun and unique twist! We were given time at the end to explore all the testers and create our own signature scent to take home, even getting to choose our favourite colour from the selection of really sleek atomisers.
What did you enjoy the most?
The chance to explore and create a fragrance that felt totally "me" was definitely the highlight! I ended up gravitating towards smells like ‘Amber’, ‘Ozonic’ and ‘Transparent’, a combination I wouldn’t have expected but absolutely loved. It was really fun experimenting with the different notes, and naming your final scent made it feel extra special.
It was also great to learn more about fragrance families and what works well together! I absolutely love the perfume I made, and I’ve already had compliments on it!
If you're feeling a bit overwhelmed or unsure where to start, don't be afraid to ask for a bit more guidance. There are lots of options and it can be tricky at first to narrow it down.
If you experience smell fatigue (or go a bit nose blind!), smelling the inside of your elbow helps reset your sense of smell. Trust me, it’s surprisingly effective!
It’s also worth knowing your fragrance gets registered online, so you can reorder it anytime and you even get a certificate to download! All in all, a great experience, good value for money and very memorable.
