The experience will last between 1 to 3 hours, depending on the location.
This experience is for 2 people, there may be other people on the day.
This experience is not suitable for spectators but may join in the activity by calling the venue on the day for space
Minimum age varies depending on your chosen location, under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult.
We recommend that you wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet, as well as bringing a spare change of clothing and a towel!

This adventure was bought for as as a 50th wedding anniversary present. Both being pensioners but reasonably healthy we wondered if we would manage to keep up the pace for a day. We need not have worried we were well capable of doing this and what a wonderful day it was. It was a small group of just 3, canoe's of a similar age group and we became friends quickly the weather was exceptional but even had it not been i still think the day would have been as good. 3 Hrs canoeing in the morning and a stop at a nice pub for lunch. 1 1/2 Hrs in the afternoon to the final stop and to catch a train back to our start point. Slight disappointment that the train was not steam...however we could have waited a little longer for a steam train. However the carriages were old stock as were the station details bringing back some wonderful memories. A super day out.

We thought we were to old to do this experience being 50 but it was a brilliant day we had so much fun apart from when we capsized but we survived lol everyone was so friendly all different age groups but all gr8 people. The staff are also gr8 people it's one experience we will never forget. Would definitely recommend it was a gr8 50th birthday gift for my hubby.

I can understand why people return year after year. It's so much fun, not too strenuous and in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Personally, I'd take a picnic next time. This is no reflection on the food provided, which was fine, but the long queue to get it meant we felt a little rushed.

Although we had to travel from Scotland... it was well worth the time spent on the motorway. The owners did a wonderful job of providing support and their safety demonstration definitely ensured we were well prepared. We have done this once before and loved it so much that we chose it again. It is a lovely peaceful way of travelling down the river, if slightly tiring if like us you are less fit than you would like! The pub stop for lunch is a very welcome break with lovely food.

The day was well organised and supported. The timings and directions provided proved accurate and the lunch time stop included a good choice of drinks and tasty hot buffet lunch. My wife and I have a little previous experience but this was not essential to enjoy the day. The section of river is quiet and rural and full of wildlife. The return trip on the Steam train rounded off a great day.
