Paintballing is great, but when you bring tanks into the mix, it takes it into an entirely new world of fun! Imagine the thrill of actually taking part in a tank battle - not with live ammunition, but with paint! Prepare to get splattered.
Take it in turns as part of a three-man crew to negotiate a tricky tank course set in a world war II bombing range. Your tank of choice will be a unique 17 tonne FV432 armoured personnel carrier, with specially modified cannons capable of firing 40mm paint rounds.
Under the guidance of your on-board instructor you will get the opportunity to drive the tank, aim the cannon, load the breach and fire the big air-powered cannon. To get you into your role as an artillery man (or woman) you will be issued with radio headsets, kevlar helmets, tank suits and gloves. Once you are able to successfully operate the tank, the hatches are closed and you are free to engage in full on armoured warfare against an opposing team using only your periscopes to guide you! Aim and fire!

When can you go?
This experience is available on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays, from April to October.
How long does this activity last?
You will spend approximately 2 hours doing the activity.
You need to know
The minimum age is 16 years old.
The maximum height for participants is 1.93m (6ft 4). The maximum weight is 139kg (22 stone). Please note that accessing the vehicles involves climbing into tight spaces.
You do not require any qualifications to take part in this activity.

Great fun
.
I was bought this experience as a christmas present and it was so much fun, there are two other people with you in the tank and you take it in turns to drive around the couse, then you take turns firing the cannon at targets. Then after talkingg tactics you go to war with another tank. The instructors are so friendly it was the day a very memorable experience.

It was so different and although it looked like it was going to be easy to drive the tank the reality was completely the opposite. Being able to look out of the tank was much easier than when using the periscope which gave you a much more restricted view and really affected the way I drove. The battle itself was great fun and the mud just added to it all.
